[Nic Totopoulous is standing around backstage at a local non televised live event in the interview area.  The TNT Wrestling production crew is scrambling around everywhere, as Nic Totopoulous stands in front of the background they would like him to be in front of while conducting his promo.  The crew is getting the lights ready, the microphones ready, the camera's ready, and everything else required.  The cameraman stands straight in front of Totopoulous, setting the camera up on a tripod.  They hang a microphone over top of Totopoulous' head.  Totopoulous is dressed in his regular ring attire, with the TNT Wrestling World Heavyweight Championship Title belt hung over his left shoulder.  He wears it proudly with a large grin on his face.  Then an official walks over to Totopoulous to explain something to him.]

All right Nic listen, when you are cued, you're going to begin your promo.  Take as long as you want.  I'm sure you have a lot to say, and I'm sure all the fans want to hear it.

Of course they want to hear it.  The fans cling to every word I've ever said, and every word I am going to say.

Well good then.  When you're finished, we'll change the backdrop and begin you're photo shoot.

Photo shoot?  Why didn't anyone tell me about it?

Well I thought someone did.

Well I wasn't told, so therefore, I'm not going to do it.

Well Nic that's too bad.  I picture of yourself would go well with the feature article about yourself in the TNT Wrestling magazine.  It was going to be for the front page, but I guess not.

Front page did you say?

Yes.

Well, if you'd said that in the first place.  Of course I'll do it.  I mean I deserve to be on the front page, I deserve to have the main article about me in that magazine.

Well great then, I'm glad everything is settled.

Oh you know it is.

Great then, so when I give you the signal, that's when you start.

I got it.

Great.

[The official steps back out of sight from the camera.  Totopoulous keeps his sinister grin as the cameraman gives him the countdown.]

Okay Nic, three... two... one... action!

[The red light on the camera goes on and Nic begins his promo.]

Before I start, I'd like to say congratulations to Big Boss for becoming the new Eurasian Champion.  I know he worked hard to get that title, and he deserves it.  He deserved to win that title, because he doesn't deserve to be the World Champion.  He wrestled hard, and he trained hard.  I give him a lot of credit for what he has accomplished.  I don't want to take anything away from him.  He just isn't World Title material.  I wish him all the best in defending his title, but he'll never ever get another chance at the title I am carrying over my shoulder.  He just doesn't, and will never have what it takes to be the World Champion here in TNT Wrestling.  It was proven on Monday, and he will continue to prove it for the rest of his career.

Now, a lot of things have happened over the last few days.  First of all, I retained my TNT Wrestling World Heavyweight Championship Title belt.  I know a lot of you might think that Jonny Fly is the true champion, not true.  I know that a lot of people might believe that there is a co-champion, this as well is not true.  I am the true champion, and I proved it last Monday night in the triple threat match.  This belt is mine, and only mine because the final fall was a draw.  In the case of a draw, the champion retains the title.  That's the way it is, and that's the way it has to be.  I know that because of my veteran experience.  Jonny Fly might not know all the rules yet, so if he's angry, I'll understand.  I would be angry too if I wasn't carrying this belt around with me, but I am, so I'm not.  But Jonny Fly, I'm sorry that you didn't have what it took to take my title away from me.  I'm sorry that you just aren't good enough to be the World Champion.  Now I know that you'll probably complain about being screwed, and demand a match with me.  That's fine.  You know why?  Because I will beat you in any match.  I proved it two Sunday's ago, I proved it on Monday, I proved that I am a true champion, and that you are nothing.  Nothing but second best.  Until I retire, you always will be second best Jonny Fly, always.

[Totopoulous gets a grin on his face and he rubs his World Title with his right hand.  He then continues.]

Now Jonny Fly I know isn't happy.  Another man that shouldn't be happy with this situation is Gravedigger.  I know that he wanted Jonny Fly to win the match.  He told everyone the way he felt for a while now.  He's been talking, and blabbing, and telling everyone how great Fly is.  He's been singing his praises for so long now, some people might have started to believe it.  I never believed it, and now the people won't believe that garbage Digger has been feeding the people either.  Fly, I know you're going to want another match, that's fine with me.  You do whatever it is you have to do to get that match.  Then I'll do what I do best, and that's win.  I have said it all along, I am the best in the world at what I do.  I have proved it over and over again.  TNT threw their two top competitors against me.  I beat them each one on one, and in a triple threat match.  I don't know what more I have to do to prove myself.  I have solidified my spot as the best of all time.  I have proved that no one, and I mean no one is the world can beat me.

I know that Gravedigger said that my time is over, I need to pass the torch to the new blood of TNT Wrestling.  The truth is though, my time has just begun.  When I first won the title a while back, I wasn't as good as I am now.  I have broken past all barriers, and surpassed all expectations of what people thought I could accomplish.  Everyone knew I'd be great, but no one but me thought I'd be the best.  So Gravedigger, I know you want me to admit that Fly is better than me.  You seem to think I have no choice.  Well I have a choice, and I choose the truth.  I choose the truth because the truth is that I am better than Fly.  Fly is a young man with a lot of upside, but he will never take my place Digger as the past, present, and future of this company.  You named off a lot of great names Gravedigger.  You named Joker, Death, Blader Skum, Venom, all great champions, all great leaders in their time.  None will have carry the same weight as the name Nic Totopoulous.  None will ever mean more than the name Nic Totopoulous.  When I retire, people will hear the name Nic Totopoulous, and know that it is sononomous with the best, ever.  The name Nic Totopoulous will be sononomous with, God.

[Totopoulous pats his belt once again.]

All of that is in the past though.  I need to look toward my future.  I see that Jonny Fly was too battered after the beating I gave him to have a match on Mayhem this Sunday.  As for myself though, I feel as fresh as a daisy.  I am ready for all the new challenges to be thrown my way.  This Sunday is the beginning of this new journey for your World Champion.  This Sunday I will compete in a match against an up and comer.  This guy really is something to watch.  He's exciting, he's strong, he's fast, he's smart.  Those are all things that I am too, but I take it to a different level.  The man I'm talking about is Mark Vincent.  This guy came in to TNT Wrestling and has shocked the wrestling world.  He won his first match and is looking to get a huge victory over me.  Let's face it though, it would be a career starter for him.  If he were to beat the World Champion, the best in the industry, the man that everyone wants to take down, his career would sky rocket.  It's a damn shame that it won't happen though.  This kid as a lot of potential, and I'll give it to him.  But he'll never have what it takes to be the World Champion, not as long as I'm around.  As long as I'm around, I'll be the champion, I'll be the man to beat, I'll simply be the man.

Recently though, Vincent had something interesting to say.  A main event between myself and him, the World Champion against an up and comer.  He said that it would draw a lot of money, he said that's the way to book a main event.  Well he's right.  It will be a money making event.  He seems to think though that it's because it's a new face against the World Champion.  Ha!  That's a good one Vincent.  The only reason it's going to be a money making event is because of me.  The way to make money is to put me in the main event.  I'll have an exciting match with anyone in the world.  I can do wonders in the ring, and the people know it.  I know Mark Vincent is a good wrestler, and I know what he's trying to get at.  The truth is though that the name Mark Vincent won't draw a dime.  Not in TNT Wrestling, not anywhere.  Maybe in a little while, but not now.  It's going to be all me making the money for that match Vincent, all me.

But of all the things you had to say Vincent, there is one thing that stands out in my mind more than any other.  When you said that I have been the least dominant World Champion of all time.  HA!  How dare you make such an accusation!  You have only had but one match in TNT Wrestling.  I have been wrestling here for years.  I held that World Title for five months straight Vincent.  I held that belt longer than you have been in this company.  In every one of my title defenses cleanly.  I have never had outside interference in any of my title defenses.  When I beat Lo-Lander, when I beat Brian Kraemer, when I beat Big Boss, when I beat Michael Edwards, I defeated everyone in my path everyone put in my path Vincent.  Don't start to criticize when you don't have all the facts.  The fact is that I'm an established name, and established wrestler, and you are nothing.  I will prove it to you on Sunday.

Of all the things I dislike about you Vincent, there is one thing I am fond of.  I love your confidence.  You think that you can do almost anything, you think that the sky's the limit for you.  I like that attitude.  You're arrogant and cocky, a lot like myself.  I think you're just a little too cocky though.  You dismiss me as a nothing opponent.  It's funny that you would do such a thing.  I mean I am the World Champion.  Are you telling me you are better than Jonny Fly?  Are you better than Big Boss?  Are you better than Michael Edwards?  Are you better than every single person who has fallen to defeat against yours truly?  If you truly believe you are, then you are also a fool.  Mark Vincent, it's great to have confidence, but don't get over you're head.  This is where the big boys play Vincent.  You can either learn it the easy way, or the hard way.  Vincent, I'll see you in the ring!

[Nic Totopoulous gives a sinister grin into the camera.]

And... Cut!

[The red light on the camera goes off.  The TNT Wrestling official walks over to Nic.]

Great job Nic.  Are you ready for the shoot?  We only need one picture for the front page of the magazine.  The rest we've gotten from your matches.

Ya, I guess I'm ready.

All right, I'd like you to arch your back slightly, hold your belt proud, and give me a smile.

[The official takes a few steps back.  The cameraman gets up close to Nic.  He clicks the camera three times.]

All right Nic, we're all done.

[The official turns to a member of the production crew.]

Hey, can you stick your head out the door and tell Fly that we're ready for him?

Sure thing.

[The man walks over to the door and steps out.]

Whoa!  Jonny Fly?  He's here?

Well sure, he's after you today.

Holy crap!  I mean, umm...  I've got an appointment.  I've gotta get going.  Is there a back door by any chance?

Ya, just through that door over there.

[The official points to a door at the back of the room.]

Just go through that door, it leads to the parking lot.

Thanks a lot, I'm in a hurry.

[Totopoulous quickly puts a T-shirt on.  He grabs his bag and puts his belt in the bag.  He quickly walks out the door and into the parking lot.  As the door is closing slowly, Totopoulous can be seen running through the parking lot to his car.]

Ha!  Ha!  That was too easy, what a moron.

[The production crew member walks back in the door.]

Fly isn't out there sir, I searched everywhere.

Ya I know.  Ha!  Ha!

[The scene fades to black as the crew begins to clean up the area.]
