[Better than you by Metallica hits the speakers.  The crowd is unsure as to who it is coming down to the ring.  Just then Nic Totopoulous' friend Joe comes out from behind the curtain and onto the stage.  He stops at the top of the ramp and looks out to both sides of the audience.  The crowd gives him a slightly negative response, but the majority of people just wonder what he's doing coming down to the ring.  He then proceeds to walk down the ramp toward the ring wearing a mesh shirt and a pair of wrestling tights.

He walks around to the side of the ring and is handed a microphone from the ring announcer.  He climbs up the steps, through the ropes and into the ring.  The music stops as he approaches the middle of the ring.  The crowd stirs as he begins to address the sold out TNT Wrestling audience.]

Well, I'm sure that there are some people out there who know who I am.  I'm sure some people out there have seen segments on the show with me backstage.  I'm certain that some of you people have seen me backstage talking with my good friend Nic Totopoulous.  My name is Joe Shmoe.  Man do we ever go way back.  Back in the day there were three of us that grew up and trained together.  We went through the same wrestling schools, we went to the same high school.  We were like the three stooges.  The three of us would go out and cause trouble all of the time.  We had a great time as kids, and Nic and I are having a great time right now causing trouble.  The third member of our crew is named Tim.  He wrestled and became a huge star right here in TNT.  Most of you won't know him as Tim, but Tim retired long ago.  He made it big before Nic did, but he was never as big as Nic is right now.  Tim was at a time the TNT Wrestling World Champion.  Now he's a school teacher, and I think he enjoys that much more.  He didn't enjoy the politics in wrestling.  Even though many of the politics were in his favour, he still didn't feel it was necessarily right.  Now I'm not down here to talk about my friend Tim.  Nor am I here to talk about Nic.  While Nic is a hot topic of conversation these days, being the World Champion and everything.  And his match on Sunday should be a memorable one.  It should be a great match with Big Boss.  I'm here to talk about me.

Out of the three of us, I was always the most talented.  I was always the one that wanted it more than any of the others.  I new that Tim wouldn't last long in business.  He didn't have the desire.  I new that Nic had what it took to make it big.  He wanted it really bad and had the talent to make it.  He didn't have the same talent that I have though.  The other two were just ones that were lucky enough to get the breaks in the business.  So here I am.  I have finally gotten my chance to make it big, to make it in the biggest wrestling company in the world.  I mean this is TNT Wrestling, the pinnacle of the wrestling industry.  Now I know that I have not quite made it yet, and that's what I'm here about.  I'm to get myself a job.  I have been wrestling in dark matches, in try-out matches, at house shows and everywhere else TNT has asked me to work.  Every time I have gotten in the ring I have won.  For some reason though, TNT has refused to sign me to a contract.  I have clearly showed that I have the talent, I have showed that I have the desire.  If I didn't want this, I would be traveling all of this god forsaken country wrestling out of every hole imaginable to try and get a job here.

[The crowd boos at that remark about their country, the United States of America.]

Oh right, all of you are very patriotic.  Believe me, my goal wasn't to get all of you upset tonight.  What I wanted to do was demand a contract right now.  I'm calling Marcel out to the ring with my contract.  I know he knows I deserve one.  I don't know what he's waiting for.  He hasn't given me any real competition from the main roster to test my skills yet.  I really want the chance to prove myself worthy of a spot on the roster.  But hell, if Marcel won't come down to the ring, maybe I should call out any wrestling on the main roster in the back.  Maybe what I need to do prove that I can beat someone on the roster to get my job.  Well I guess here it is.  This is the official challenge, right here, right now.  I don't have time to wait.  I'm living in a mobile home right now, I have no money and need job.  I have been World Champion in other lesser known companies.  I have been World Champions in companies about as important as the one Big Boss is Champion in.  I need this, I need a match.

[Just then Kick Start my Heart by Motley Crue hits the speakers.  The crowd begins to boo as Nic Totopoulous comes out from behind the curtain and stands on the ramp.  He has a microphone in hand. He is dressed in his regular ring attire and in a Nic Totopoulous T-shirt.  He also has his World Title wrapped around his waist.  The music stops and he begins to talk to his good buddy Joe.]

Listen Joe, I know you want a contract, but this isn't the way to go about getting it.  I mean think about it.  All you're doing is coming down to the ring and demanding a job.  Just think about that.  Just think about how Marcel will react to that.  If I were in charge, I wouldn't care how great you are.  With an attitude like that I wouldn't want you in my company.  Then you go out an challenge someone on the roster.  Who would take that match?  They have everything to lose, and you have everything to gain.  If they lose, they look like garbage in front of a nobody.  If you lose, you'll continue doing what you're doing.  Joe, I've been around TNT long enough to know how things work.  Now I said I'd find you a job and I will.  I said I'd convince Marcel to give you a a contract and I will.  I know I'm a jerk, but my friends are my friends.  When push comes to shove I do what I can to help.  Listen to me Joe, I will help you, I promise.  Just give me the right amount of time to get it done.

Time?  Time is what I don't have Nic.  I appreciate that you want to help me, but you haven't done anything yet.  I'm living from pay cheque to pay cheque trying to get by right now.  I'm living in a mobile home for crying out loud.  I have too much talent to be wasted.  You should know that more than anyone.  You've seen what I can do, you've seen me at my best.  You know that I can beat anyone in TNT Wrestling.  You know that if I signed a contract that I'd be the number one contender for your title within the month Nic.  I'd cause so much a of stir that Marcel would have no choice but to put the two top men in TNT Wrestling in the same ring fighting for the biggest title in the world, the one that you are wearing around your waist.

Don't get ahead of yourself here.  One at step at a time Joe.  I mean you don't even have a job man and you're nearly demanding a title shot.  Now I'm not going to wrestle you man.  But I will help you get that job you want.  Then if Marcel decides you are worthy of a match with me, he'll give you one.  I will get you a job, but after this Sunday man.  You know that I have a huge match coming up.  You said it yourself that is was going to be memorable.  I just hope that it's great, and that I win.  I mean I know Big Boss is getting ready.  Hell, he's even out buying a car for the match.  What the hell?  I'm not going to buy a car to smash for a wrestling match.  Not just any wrestling match, but a match when Jonny Fly is making up the rules.  Since when does he make the calls around here?  Last time I checked Marcel had final say.  There must be some way to get that reversed.  I mean the rest of the rules are stupid, but I can live with them.  But smash my car?  No!  I don't have the money for that.  I spend my money to give myself a great life.  I don't need to waste it on s car I'm going to smash.  I'm not partaking in this match.  I'm not.

What are you talking about?  We were talking about me man, and my problem.  I don't feel sorry for you that you're rich and the World Champion Nic.  I mean Nic, I need a job.

All right listen.  I'll get you the job, but after Sunday.  I need to focus on my match.  I can't afford a loss to Big Boss.  Not only does it make me look bad, but it makes TNT look bad too if the World Champion from another company beat TNT's World Champion on TNT TV.  I just don't like it.  Like I said Joe, I need your help.  If you help me on Sunday, then I'll help you get a job.  Does that sound like a good deal?  I think it does.  You get what you want, and I get what I want.  I mean we're friends, we help each other.  What are friends for right?

Ya I suppose so.  Listen, I'll help you, but you need to get me a job as soon as you can.  I'm living on my last nickels here.

You got it buddy.  Just come with me and I'll set you straight.

[Then Kick Start my Heart by Motley Cure hits the speakers.  Joe Shmoe drops the microphone and climbs out of the ring.  He walks back up the ramp and meets Nic Totopoulous at the top.  The walk backstage together.  The music stops and the show continues.]
