[Nic Totopoulous is seen backstage in the lockerroom sitting on a bench lacing up his boots.  He gets them laced up and slides on his elbow pad.  He takes his long blonde hair and ties it in a pony tail.  He picks up his roll of tape off the bench.  He begins to wrap his left wrist with tape.  He rips the tape with his teeth, then he wraps his right wrist with tape.  He rips the tape again with his teeth.  He puts the tape back into his bag.  He puts his bag in his locker.  He closes the locker door and locks it with his lock.  He turns around and heads toward the exit.  As he is about to walk out the door his eyes light up.  He takes a couple more steps toward the door.]

Hey!  What the hell are you doing here?

[The camera pans around to show a tall man with long blonde hair simliar to Totopoulous' standing at the door.  He takes a few steps into the room.  He walks in and they shake hands.]

What do you think I'm doing here?

Well I have no clue, so please, tell me.

Well, you know I've been around the business for a while now.  You know I've competed in a couple of companies for a while.  I was World Champ in the EFW, I was World Champ in WWW.  Well, I haven't been out competing in a while.  I've been working back home in a number of add jobs.  I've been watching TNT Wrestling.  I've seen what you've been doing man, you were tearing it up a notch.  You were awesome.  Then you had a few poor matches, you lost the title, and everything seemed to go to hell for you.

Well I did beat Aussie Wonder two weeks ago.  I've tried and tried, and that was the first time I beat him.

Ya so what?  He's nothing compared to what he used to be.

I don't know about that.  He's still pretty good.

Fine, so he's good, but he was not at his best.  I have seen him much better than that my friend.  You were lucky he wasn't on top of his game, otherwise you would have been toast.

Fine, so I haven't been my best.

Well I talked to Joe the other day.

Oh, great.  What did he have to say?

Well he said you haven't been the same man.

What?  I thought we sorted this out?

I guess not.  He still thinks there's something missing.  He thinks you're missing your edge.

That's ridiculous.

Is it really?  You spend all of your time trying to please the fans.  You don't worry about yourself, you don't worry about winning or losing any more.  That's all that matter's isn't it?

Well I don't think so.  The fans have been really good to me.  During my five month reign, when I felt that I was drained, they would always bring me back.  They helped me with so many of my victories.

Well where have they been lately?  You stink, and I don't see the fans helping.

You just don't understand it man.

What is there to understand?  You stink, and you worry about the fans.  When you didn't worry about the fans, you didn't stink.  It's that simple.

It isn't that simple.  It's never that simple.  Anyway, what the hell are you doing here?

I thought you could use some help.  I'm going to try and get a job here, then I can help you get back to your winning ways.

What, are you going to cheat for me?

Not if you don't want me to.

Well I don't.

Then I won't.

Good.

All I'm here to do is help you get back on track.  I'll train with you, I'll hang around with you.  Maybe my influence will be good for you.

I don't think your influence is good for anyone.

Ha, ya right.  It could only help you my friend.

Ya, well I guess I hope so.

So, who is that pretty little number outside the door?

I don't know.  Who's outside the door?

Pretty little blonde.

[Totopoulous walks over to the door and sticks his head out.  He looks out to see Sarah Stratigias.]

Oh, that's Sarah, she's with Mike Edwards.

Oh, she is fine.  I'd seen her on TV, but she looks so much better in real life man.

Well, I would look into it if I were you.  Mike would take care of you like you were nothing.

Hey, I'm a three time former World champion.  I can take care of myself.

Ya, but EFW and WWW were nothing like UWA and TNT Wrestling man.  They are totally different leagues.  Hell, they aren't even as good as NCW, and that place was horrible.

Don't worry about me man.  But don't worry.  I know that you and Mike are friends, I wouldn't do anything to ruin that.

Thanks.

Was that sarcasm?

No.

There it is again.  You don't trust me.

Of course I don't.  You'll ruin everything.  You've got such a hot head.

Well thank you.

Ah, you're such an idiot.

But this idiot is going to help you out man.

Listen, I've gotta go out to the ring.

Well I'll come with you.

Not today man.  I'm going out alone.

Well fine.  But I've got a try-out match later.  I'll talk to you after the show.

Sounds good.  Later man.

Later.

[Totopoulous walks out the door and into the lobby.  The man that Totopoulous was talking with walks over to the bench where Totopoulous' locker is.  He takes a seat and gets ready for his try-out match.]
