[Nic Totopoulous is seen at a local talk radio station in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.  He is sitting in the studio with two other people, presumably the radio hosts.  He has his head set on, and appears to be ready to go on the air.  The "On Air" light goes on, and the shows starts.]

Billy D - Welcome back.  That was All My Life by the Foo Fighters here on 102.1 The Edge.  Well Johnny, we have a big surprise for everyone here today.

Johnny - That's right.  We have current TNT Wrestling superstar, and TNT Wrestling World Heavyweight Champion, Toronto's own Nic Totopoulous with us here today.  I'm glad you could be here today Nic.

Well I'm glad to be here guys.  But really, I'm from Mississauga, not Toronto, so don't get your facts mixed up next time.

Oh right.  It's the producer.  Always messing things up.

That's okay, don't worry about.

So we have a few questions for you here today.  They aren't hard questions, so I hope for easy and honest answers.

That can be done.

Excellant.  Well first I wanted to ask you a little bit about your career.  I wanted to ask how you got into the business.

Well, I was an amateur wrestler in high school.  I was pretty good.  I went to the provincial championships, lost in the finals.  I wasn't great, wasn't bad either.  Then I simply got interested in pro wrestling.  I started to watch some old tapes of Steamboat and Flair, that Flair Savage match at Wrestlemania three.  I also watched Wrestlemania ten, the ladder match betweem Hall and Michaels, and the opener between Bret and Owen Hart.  Those types of matches really got me interested in wrestling.  Then I went to a wrestling school in Toronto for a few months, then I moved out to Calgary where I trained with Stu Hart.  I worked a few independant shows before TNT saw me for the first time and scooped me up.

Now from what I understand, you and TNT had a bit of a falling out for a while.

Yes, this is true.  I went through a rough time in my life where I began to drink excessively.  I did have a problem.  So TNT tried to get me into rehad but I refused.  They had no choice but to let me go.  It was a fair decision, and I understand totally.  I was forunate enough to join and upstart company called NCW, which was a company that was going to show their television programmes over the internet.  It didn't really go anywhere and quickly shut down.  I went back to TNT, and they helped me get into rehad.  They paid for everything, and when I was better they brought me back.

But not long after they brought you back the company closed right?

Yes that is right.  I was scheduled to have a match against BladerSkum for the World title, and the company closed down the day before the show.  I didn't even know about it until I arrived at the arena on Sunday.  Needless to say I was not pleased.  So I took a few months off.  Then BladerSkum gave me a call and told me to come to UWA.  So that is what I did.  I went there, I won the TV title and held it for two months, longer than any other person.  Then I went on to become only the second person to hold the US title twice.  Then I was blessed with the opportunity to to win the World Title.  Then after I lost the title I went into a funk, but later quit the company.  Then I came back to TNT after it opened up, and won the title back in the fall.  I've held it ever since.

Well that is quite the story.  We'll be back with more from Nic Totopoulous after Still Waiting by Sum 41.

[Still Waiting by Sum 41 plays.  Then we come back to the three of them sitting in the booth.]

And we are back.  We are here with TNT Wrestling World Champion Nic Totopoulous.  Now Nic, let's move into the present here in TNT Wrestling.  Last Sunday night at the Entrapment Pay Per View, you were able to defend your World title.

Yes I was.

Well after the match on the screen there was something about a Golden Boy written.  By some earlier talks this week, you seem to know who this new comer is.  Would you be able to give us any insight for that?

Well, no I can't.  You see I think I know who it is, but I am not positive.

Well can you tell me who you think this person is?

Actually no I can't.  I don't want to start rumours about who this person is.  If it is this person, they probably want their identity concealved for now.  If it's not, well then I look like an idiot because I was wrong.  I only know of one Golden Boy, so I'm going to keep my speculation to myself.  I can only guarantee one thing, if it is who I think it is, they will have a major impact on TNT Wrestling, one like you will not believe.

Well I can't wait to find out who it is, because the anticipation is building.

Well you are simply going to have to wait.

Well, let's talk about Terror Xtreme for a moment.

All right, I love to talk about them.  I love to talk about how they are a group of quitters because I am too good for them.  They left TNT so they could go somewhere where they can win.

Well, I've heard a lot of things about them backstage, is it true that they were just terrible for the backstage morale of the roster.

Yes, the rumours are true.  They were a real pain backstage.  They would keep to themselves for the most part, but they would just bring a negative overtone to the lockerroom.  It wasn't good at all.

But didn't you have your own lockerroom?

Ya right, that's a good one.  I'm just glad that they are gone, and that their trouble causing ways are over.

Well let's move on to next Sunday when you take on Jonny Fly in the main event.  He has made a proposition for you.  He has requested that if he beats you, that he should get a title shot.  What do you think about that?

Well quite frankly I don't care.  I don't know what he has done in TNT in the first place to even deserve a shot against me in the first place, let alone a title shot.  But if he does beat, I guess he can have one.  I don't care.  If President Marcel feels that he deserves one, he'll give him one.  I don't make the decisions about wrestling, I just go out and wrestle at my best every time I'm given a match, which usually leads to victory.

Well Jonny Fly seems as though he will have everything under control, that he will defeat you without too much trouble.

Well over the past few days I have looked at a few of his tapes from UWA.  He does have some skill.  I wil definitely not take him lightly.  I know that he will come at me with everything he has, and I welcome it.  If he didn't, I would be dissapointed in him.  I want his best, and I want to prove that I am better.

Well I guess the only way to do that is if he is at his best.

Exactly.

Well Nic, it was great having you here.  Best of luck to you on Sunday, and best of luck to you down the road.

That's for having me, it was my pleasure.

Can you pick a song for us on the way out?

I'll go with Kick Start My Heart by Motley Crue of course.

This is Moley Crue, on 102.1 The Edge.

[The song begins to play as they take their head sets off, and the scene fades to black.]
