[Nic Totopoulous is seen in Toronto, Canada.  He is in a room with a large group of people surrounding him, and an interviewer.  He is in a suit (very odd), and he has a microphone in his hand.  The microphone reads, MuchMusic.  Just then the interviewer takes a begins to talk as Totopoulous takes a seat in a chair.]

George Stroumboulopoulous - Hello everyone out there and welcome to Much Music.  I'm George Stroumboulopoulous and we have a very special guest today in the Much Music environment.  He is from of the world of Professional Wrestling, he is the current TNT Wrestling World Heavyweight Champion, he is Nic Totopoulous.  Thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to visit us today.

Nic Totopoulous - Well the truth is that I watch Much Musiic whenever I'm at home, and I used to watch it even more when I was younger.  So it really is an honour to be here with you and all these people here today.  I have seen a large number of great rock stars walk through this building and in this room.  To be seated where many of the world's best have sat before really is something that I find pretty cool.

Well I'm glad that you seem to be enjoying yourself.  Well today will be a day where I will ask you a few questions, the audience will ask you a few questions, and you will be able to pick a few music videos to watch.

Sounds like a good time.

I'm glad.  Well let me start by asking how you initially got into wrestling.

Well, as a kid I used to watch wrestling.  I liked to watch Macho Man, Hulk Hogan, Ricky Steamboat, Ultimate Warrior.  I was like a lot of other young boys.  Then for a while I stopped watching the shows.  It was really for no real reason other than I just lost interest.  Then when I became a teenager again I watched some more.  Some of my idols would include Bret Hart and Owen Hart, and also Steve Austin.  When I watched the athletic ability these men had, I wanted to do it too.  The closest thing I could get to pro wrestling as a teenager was amateur at school, so that's what I did.  I won the gold in the Region of Peel finals, and I received a silver at the provincials.  It really was lots of fun, but not really what I had in mind.  Then I went off to York University and got a degree in Kinesiology because I wanted to be a gym teacher.  All through school I watched so much wrestling, it was ridiculous.  I would watch the weekly shows, and I would buy tapes over the internet from Japan and from Mexico.  I would study these tapes and simply marvel at what I saw.  I saw old tapes of Dynamite Kid and Ric Flair.  These two men are two of the best I have ever seen.  When I finished school I decided I wanted to be a wrestler.  At the time I watched it whenever I could.  I watched guys like Joker and Death and Mirror and Minds Eye and Shadow.  They helped me want it even more.

I went to a local wrestling school in Toronto for a few months and quickly progressed through there.  After about three months I moved out to Calgary to train in the dungeon with Stu Hart.  Let me tell you, even at eighty this guy can stretch you out.  After that I wrestled in a few feds before finally ending up here in TNT for the second time.  Actually, my time in the UWA really was a great time for me.  I was having some problems and the guys there really helped me get through it so that I could continue to do what I loved.

If you couldn't be a pro wrestling Nic, what would you do instead?

Well, I'd want to be a pro hockey player.  I played hockey all through my childhood, and I still play now when I have the chance.  That was my dream as a kid, but I was never really good enough to make it to the big time.  There are a few people I know that did, but I was never as good as them, and they used to beat me at road hockey all the time.

Well we are going to watch a video, then come back and take a few audience questions.

Sounds good to me.

What video do you want to see?

Well, I'm going to have to go with Welcome to the Jungle by Guns N' Roses.

A good choice.  We'll be back with Nic Totopoulous right after this.

[The music video plays for the next 4 or 5 minutes.  Then we come back to Totopoulous sitting in the chair with George.]

We are back here in the Much Music environment.  If you are just joining us Nic Totopoulous from TNT Wrestling is joining us right now.  We said before the video that we would take some questions from the audience.  But just before we do that, this being a music channel I need to ask you who your favourite band is, and what your favourite song is.

My favourite band hands down is Metallica.  Their Kill 'Em All album is a classic.  As for favourite song I'm not too sure about.  I'll have to get back to you about that one.

All right then.  We will take a question from the audience now.  Alright the person over there.

Fan - I have been watching you all of your career and you are one of the best in the business right now.  Who do you think is the best of all time?

Well thank you for the compliment.  As for you question, I don't even have to think about that one, Ric Flair.  The two decades he was on top of the business.  He was great in the ring, he was great on the mic.  He has great ring psychology, and he can take you on a great emotional roller coaster in the ring.  He is definitely I think the best of all time.  His matches with Ricky Steamboat in NWA were classic.

We have another question for someone over there.

Fan #2 - There are a great number of wrestlers in TNT right now.  Out of all of them, who would you like to feud with, and who would you like to team with?

Hmm...  I had a lot of fun feuding with Kevin Cosmos back in the UWA.  I'm also having fun with Cappy right now.  I know I'd like to team with Cosmos.  I think we would make a good team.  But to feud with I think I'd have to go with Nightmare.  I have never feuded with him, and for a big man, or even for anyone, he is great in the ring.  I have never seen a big man that good.  I think it would be fun to be tossed around by him in a solid feud.

Well that doesn't sound like much fun to me, but then again I guess I'm more fragile than you are.

I would assume so.

I was kind of curious to know if you like what you are seeing in wrestling today?  I'm wondering if you enjoy the shock TV that has made wrestling so popular.

Well the truth is that I think that fad is over.  I don't think shock TV is attracting viewers anymore.  I think right now good wrestling is doing the trick.  In the eighties and early nineties it was about the larger than life characters, then came shock TV, and I think now it's simply great wrestling.  The wrestlers are much better now than they ever have been.  Every show there is great wrestling, and I think that's the way it should be.  As for enjoying shock TV, it was interesting, but it's nothing compared to two guys in the ring competing at the highest level of wrestling.

That is good to hear, I think that a lot of fans feel the same way.  Well we have time for one more music video Nic, this is your final choice.  Oh, but before you do that, what is your favourite song?

That's right.  I'm going to have to go with Kick Start my Heart by Motley Crue.  I know that it's my entrance music, but it honestly is my favourite song.  I think I want to watch that video.

Well that is a good choice.  That's for coming Nic.

It was my pleasure.

This is Kick Start my Heart by Motley Crue right here on much.

[The scene fades into the music video.]
