[Nic Totopoulous is sitting backstage in the lockerroom.  He is wearing jeans and a black T-shirt.  He is tying up his shoes.  He looks up and notices the camera.  He stands up for the camera.  We see his TNT Wrestling World Heavyweight Championship Title belt resting on a shelf.]

Nic Totopoulous - Is this promo time?>

Cameraman - Yes it is.  Are you ready to go Nic?

Excellent, then you can begin.

I'd first off just like to say that I've finally heard the news about Brian Kraemer.  I hear that he has left TNT Wrestling.  Do you know what I hear the reason for that is?  It's because he was supposed to wrestle against me on Sunday night.  How about that.  I knew that I had embarassed Kraemer enough, and I knew that he was afraid of me, but I didn't think that he'd quit TNT Wrestling because he was afraid of me, because he was afraid of losing again.  Am I proud of myself?  Yes I most certainly am.  I didn't think that I would be able to end a person's TNT Wrestling career by simply embarassing them constantly, and by defeating them constantly.  I guess I was mistaken then.But because of him leaving, my match has been changed.  It is no longer a tag match that I'll be competing in, I'll be competing one on one with Kage.
 

 

I do think that this one on one match is a great idea rather than a tag match though.  This way I don't have to worry about Cappy screwing everything up.  I can go out there and do what I do best, and that's win matches.  I know that he would have had to depend on me in that match.  I know that he would have been lost and confused out there, and that I would have had to lead him in the right direction.  This works out better for both of us.  I can win a match without any trouble, and Cappy gets the week off.  He gets a chance to rest his body, and the next week he'll be ready to compete at his best.

Now as for my opponent Kage.  This man has been quite a competitor so far here in TNT Wrestling.  He has come in and quickly become one of the better competitors here in TNT Wrestling.  He has quickly become the TNT Wrestling Television Champion of the new era in TNT.  He has proved himself against many great opponents so far in his short time here in TNT Wrestling.  Unfortunately for him though, he hasn't had to wrestle someone the caliber of Nic Totopoulous.  He hasn't had to wrestle against the best that not only this company has to offer, but that this industry has to offer.  I have watched many of his matches from backstage, and I must say that he has been more than impressive.  This is where he shall fall though.  This is where Kage will meat his demise.  This is where Kage will falter for the first time in a while.  I will be able to continue my undefeated streak.  Not only are all of those things bonuses, but I will also be able to defeat one more member of Statik.
 

 

Kage, I know you've had a few things to say about me since this match has been changed to a singles match.  Now there are quite a few things that I do understand Kage.  I understand that you won't back down.  What do you have to lose?  Nothing.  If you lose to the World Champion, it's expected.  You are the underdog right now Kage.  I know that you won't back away, I know that you will give it your all.  If you didn't, then you would be a fool.  It's me who has something to lose.  I am the World Champion.  If I lose to a a man who is as low as yourself on the totem pole here in TNT Wrestling, what does that say about me?  It doesn't say very much, I'll tell you that.  As for you being the hottest thing in TNT Wrestling, I'm not so sure.  Are you undefeated?  No.  Am I undefeated?  Yes.  I think that would make me the hottest in TNT Wrestling.  Who have you beaten lately that's so great?  I have beaten The Prankster, Nightmare, Brian Kraemer.  They are all formidable opponents.

Now you say that you've done great things elsewhere Kage?  I've got a question for you, what does that matter here in TNT Wrestling?  Why do I care that you've done great things in other companies.  As far as I'm concerned, nothing matters until you've done something great here, otherwise all of your accomplishments are useless.  I was a UWA Undisputed World Champion.  Do you care?  Does anyone here care?  No, of course not, that title means nothing here.  But what I have done here is I've been the United States Champion on two occations, and I'm the current World Champion.

Kage, until you've done great things here in TNT Wrestling, you are nothing but just another wrestler.  So Kage, I hope you're ready for the match of your life.  Kage, I'll see you in the ring.

[Totopoulous grabs his Title belt and places it over his shoulder.  He walks away and down the hall.  The scene fades to black.]
