[Nic Totopoulous is sitting in the locker room tying up his boots.  He finishes tying the second one when a man with a microphone walks into the room.  Totopoulous looks up.  He is wearing his regular ring attire, and his TNT Wrestling World Heavyweight Championship Title belt sits on the bench next to him.  He sees the man with the microphone.  Totopoulous stands up and picks up his title belt and puts it over his left shoulder.  He walks over to the man with the microphone.]

Totopoulous - So it's interview time?

Interviewer - You've got it champ.  Are you readdy?

When I have I not been ready.  I was born ready.

Well then lets begin.

[The interviewer straightens his shirt, tests the microphone, the begins.]

I'm standing here in the locker room of the TNT Wrestling World Champion Nic Totopoulous.  He has graciously given us some of his time so he may answer a few questions we have.  Many of them will concern his match tomorrow in the steel cage at Xplosion, where he defends his title against a worthy adversary in the self proclaimed "Franchise" of TNT, Brian Kraemer.  Nic I'm glad you could make some time for us.

Well to be honest it's my pleasure.  There are a few things I'd like to say.  So ask me a few questions so we can get this thing on the road.

Sure thing Nic.  First question, do you feel confident going into this match against Brian Kraemer tomorrow at Xplosion.  This match will take place in a steel cage.

I know it'll take place in a steel cage thank you.  As for feeling confident, of course I do.  I really see no reason for me to not feel confident against Brian Kraemer.  While this man has improved since he joined the new TNT Wrestling, his wrestling skill has still yet to surpass that of Nic Totopoulous.  Two weeks ago I competed in a ladder match against Brian for the vacant World Championship.  This week I will have to defend my gold.  You know what they say, getting to the top is hard, but staying there is even harder.  I suspect that this cage match will be harder than the ladder match was.  I think that as close as that match might have seemed, I really did seem to have things under control there.  In this cage match, things might be a little different.  Kraemer seems to have taken his game to another level since then.  But that won't stop me from defeating him.  So am I confident?  Yes, I most certainly am.

The other day, Brian Kraemer had quite a few things on his mind, and he made many of these things public.  He said he was confident he was going to beat you.  He said that someone was going to be sent to the hospital, but it won't be him.

Well I'm glad that he has confidence.  Otherwise there would be no point in having the match.  There would be no point in me wasting my time getting into a steel cage if he thought he didn't have a chance.  Quite frankly, if he wasn't confident, if he wasn't going to try, I'd be better off watching the Pay Per View sitting on my couch at home.  So I'm glad he's going to put up a fight, that way we can put up a great show for the fans in attendance, and the fans at home.  As for someone leaving in an ambulance, I'm not so sure about that.  I mean I'm not out there to finish off his career, I'm simply out there to keep my title.  So if it won't be him, then who might it be?  It won't be me, I'm not gonna let him do that to me.  Maybe it'll be...Kage?  Think he'll get hurt in this match?

Ummm...  Well I don't know.

It might be him.  Oh well, not use worrying about it.  I guess we'll see if his psychic powers are for real tomorrow.

Of course we will.  Brian Kraemer not only said he would be you Nic Totopoulous, but he also said that you were a coward.  How do you respond to that?

Well first I'd like to ask why he said I was a coward?  Quite frankly, I haven't seen the interview yet, so I'm just going by what you are telling me.

Well, he said you area coward because you struck a woman.  That woman being Megz.

It's funny how short Brian's memory is.  Yes I did hit her, so I guess I am a coward if that's the reason.  But I'm not the only person who hit her.  Let me remind you or Mayhem two weeks ago Brian.  There was a match, a little match that concerned a title that is now resting over my left shoulder.  It was a fatal-fourway match, me, you Brian, Nightmare, Megz.  Are you telling me you didn't hit her, strike her, slam her, or induce bodily harm on her at all during that match?  If you say you didn't, then you sir, would be a liar.  You sir, as far as your logic goes would also be a coward.  So what has TNT Wrestling come to then?  We've got two cowards fighting for their World title, in a steel cage of all places!  How the hell does that make sense?  Huh?  Tell me!

Well, I don't really know.  I didn't think either of you were cowards.

That's right, neither of us are.  But, while Brian might not be a coward, he is most definately afraid of me.  I ran into the ring, he ran away.  I'd say that's fear to me.

He said it was smart though.  He said you had lost your mind, so he left.

Lost my mind?  Of course I have.  I haven't gotten it back yet either.  So does that mean Kraemer won't show up tomorrow for our match?  Does it?  I'm not sure.  All I know is that he ran away from a fight where I was out-numbered.  I cleared the ring of all those Statik members.  But the man I came to see had already fled the scene.  It's too bad really, I wanted a chance at him.  But oh well, dems de breaks I guess.

Brian Kraemer also decided that you did come down to save The Prankster.  How would you respond to that comment?

Well, I'd respond something like this.  I don't think so.  In my first match here in the TNT Wrestling new era, The Prankster came into the ring and cost me my match.  I had to settle for a double DQ against Nightmare.  Don't think I forgot about that.  I'm not happy with what he did, and I'm going to continue to seek my revenge on him when it is most appropriate.  I wasn't saving him, I was coming down to the ring because of hatred for Statik.  That's final.

This has been a great interview Nic.  Do you have any final words here?

Umm... not really?  I don't know what to say.  I guess it's time to stop talking, and time to show what we're really made of.  So Kraemer, I'll see you in the cage!

[Nic Totopoulous looks into the camera.  He then turns and walks away and out the door.  The camera takes a shot of the the closing door as the scene fades.]
