Joe Shmoe is seen walking around in a room at his office.  In the room there is a black leather sofa, a desk, a bookcase with a large number of books (most probably for show), a nice leather chair behind the desk where a laptop is sitting.  There is a fancy cart to the left of the desk where fancy liquor glasses and bottles are resting.  Shmoe is dressed in a business suit as he sits behind the desk fidgeting nervously with his hands.  Then he gets up abruptly and walks over to the liquor bar and pours himself a glass of fine old fashioned whisky.  He drops two ice cubes in his glass, looks down at it and takes a sip.  He places the glass down on the bar and takes a deep breath, and releases it slowly.  He picks up the glass again and walks seemingly calmly and sits down behind his desk.  He takes another sip of his drink, then stands up and throws it against the wall to his right.  He leans over and puts his hands on the desk looking down at his feet.  Just then the door opens quickly, and Robbie, Sanderson's trainer comes in the door quickly.  He's dressed in his exercise clothing, shorts, a T-shirt and running shoes.

Robbie - What the hell was that?  Jen and I were talking just outside the door and we heard a smashing noise.  Is everything all right?

Shmoe looks up and sees Robbie with a concerned look on his face.  He stands straight up.

Shmoe - I'm okay, don't worry about me.  I'm just worried about this Sunday night Robbie.  I mean James has such a great opportunity here, and he's treating it like every other match.  I mean he's got a match against Jonny Fly.  Fly is a legend in TNT man.  I mean all that stuff I said about him being over the hill, and his time is over, and all that stuff.  That's just mind games man.  I'm just trying to get into his head.  I know just as well as everyone else that he is just as good as he's ever been.  That makes me worry.  Because of James doesn't start looking at this match as it is, the biggest match of his career, I don't know if he'll be able to pull it off.

Listen, James is good enough to beat Fly, you don't need to be so worried.

I know he can beat Fly.  I know James is the best right now, but I think he needs to train harder and better for this match in particular.  I don't know if he understands the magnitude of this match.  I mean you heard Fly, this match could ruin James' career.  I can't let that happen Robbie.

This match isn't going to ruin James' career if he loses.  I mean let's remember how big Fly is.  Losing to someone like Fly isn't going to hurt James.  Now if he lost to some schmuck off the street, that might hurt him.  But to lose to a great wrestler won't hurt him.  I mean just having a match of this magnitude will help his career.  It's the main event on Mayhem, against one of the greatest wrestlers in TNT Wrestling history.  Nothing but good can come of this.  The guys in the suits now see that James deserves to wrestle with the best, instead of the rest of the mediocre wrestlers he;s been wrestling against, or wrestling with.

I guess so.  But James still needs to be more ready for this match than any other.  He needs to be more mentally and physically prepared.  Robbie man, you need to help me with this.

I understand where you're coming from here Joe, but freaking out isn't going to help.

I'm not freaking out.

Ya, you are.  But working harder for one week isn't going to make a difference.  It'll just make him tired on Sunday.  James is doing the right thing here by not working himself too hard.  We don't want him to over do it.  And if we make this match to be too much of a big deal, James might get nervous.  If we prepare him properly, just like we always do.  I mean he knows what Fly is capable of, he's not stupid Joe.  He's a bright kid, and you need to treat him that way, and not like a child.  I understand you have a lot invested in him, but one week of extra pushing isn't going to help his cause at all.  We need to work him at the same pace.  It didn't help that he just found out about it on Monday either.

Ya I know.  I wish I would have had more of a warning.  He's going from tag team mode to singles mode.  And winning gold is nice, but holding on to the gold you already have is most important.

I agree.

Too bad this match has to be for Eurasian Championship.

I guess so, but it'll let us see what James is really made out of.  We'll be able to really assess where he's at in his development.  I think he'll be fine.

Maybe the plan is his Eurasian Championship versus the fame, the respect, and the credibility that will go with beating Jonny Fly.

Now you're looking at it better.  You just need to calm down a little bit, and drinking and smashing things won't be of any help at all.

You're right, thanks Robbie.  Hey, let's go get Jen to clean this mess up.

Shmoe appearing much calmer and more relaxed than before, walks out from behind his desk and opens the door.  He lets Robbie walk through first.  They both start to walk together down a hallway.

Where is James anyway?  I need to have a word with him.

He's getting ready for his workout.

Okay, after we talk with Jen I'd like to talk with him briefly before you put him to work.

That's cool.  We've got all day.

The two turn a corner to the front lobby of the building.  They walk out and look behind the desk and see no one standing there.

Where the hell is Jen?  What if someone comes in.  Who's gonna be there?

I don't know.  I'll go look for her, you go talk with James.  I'll be over soon.

Okay.

Robbie walks back down the hallway he came from, and Shmoe continues forward down another hallway toward the dressing rooms.  He turns a corner and sees Jen standing beside a door.  The door reads men's changeroom.  Shmoe gets an infuriated look on his face.

What the hell are you doing?

Jen looks over startled by Shmoe yelling at her.

Damnit Jen!  If I've told you once, I've told you a thousand times to stay the hell away from James!  He doesn't need any distractions from you!  Especially now.  He has a match with Jonny Fly on Sunday night.  Do you know who that is?  Do you know how important he is?

Ye...  Yes.

Good.  He doesn't need you bothering him, because you clearly would be a bother.  You would take his attention away from the task at hand, and that is wrestling.  Listen, you are beautiful, and could have any guy you want.  Why are you so hung up on James?  Other than his wrestling talent, there's really nothing special about him.

I don't know what it is.  He just seems to mysterious.  I just want to know more about him.  And his looks, he's so handsome...

Okay that's enough, you're making me sick.  There's a mess in my office, I'd like you to go clean it up.  And I hope this has to be the last time we have this conversation.  You're a great girl all right?  I hate getting angry with you.  So please, just leave James alone.

I can't make any promises, but I'll be certain to clean up your mess.

I don't want promises, I want you to stay away from him.

Jen turns and walks away toward Shmoe's office.  Then Shmoe leans back against the wall and rests his head against it.  He takes a deep breath, just as the door opens and Sanderson walks out, dressed to work out.  He has a James Sanderson T-shirt, a pair of running shoes and a pair of shorts on.

Oh, you're ready.  Let's go, and I need to have a chat with you.

The two begin to walk down the hallway.

I know that Fly has said a lot of things that might make you a little nervous.  The truth is that a lot of what he says isn't true.  He's just trying to get under your skin.  I know you know all about mind games, and that's all it is he's trying to do, he's just playing mind games.  He says that a loss could ruin your career.  He's wrong, dead wrong.  While a loss probably won't help your career, it certainly will not hurt it either.  I know I've been pushing you hard this week, and I appreciate that you've been able to put up with it so calmly.  I don't want you to over do it.  Robbie just explained to me that if you over do it, it could hurt you in the long run, and it could hurt you on Sunday.

Shmoe puts his arm around Sanderson as they stop in front of the exercise room.

So James, I just want you to do what I know you can do.  I know full well that you can beat Jonny Fly.  I know full well that he will be the toughest opponent you've had to face.  I just want you to focus, just one step at a time James.  Worry about Sunday, then we'll look to the future.  Go have a good workout.

Sanderson turns, opens the door and walks in the room.  Just then Robbie walks quickly up behind Shmoe.  Shmoe turns around to see him.

Listen Joe, I can't find Jen anywhere.

It's okay, I found her.  She was waiting for James to get out of the changeroom.

What's going on with them anyway?

I don't know, hopefully nothing though.  I can't have James being destracted.

I'm gonna let you know something, a little distraction might not be so bad for him.

What?

I mean if he's focused only on wrestling, he might get a little burned out.  If he get's burned out then he's no good to anyone, especially himself.

I see what you're saying.  But Jonny Fly...

I know, and this week probably isn't the best week to start getting distracted either.

No it's not.  I'm going to get a little business finished up here all right?  So please don't let Jen anywhere near him.  I can't risk it, and neither can he.

I got ya.

Robbie walks through the doors and into the gym.  Shmoe turns around and starts to walk back through the hallway, pondering what Robbie and he just finished discussing.  He walks past Jen who is sitting behind the front desk doing some paper work.

Did you get that cleaned up?

Yes I did Joe.

Thank you Jen.

Shmoe continues to walk past down the hall toward his office as the scene fades to black.
