| Interview conducted by my fan, W.D. on 10-01-01 If you weren't wrestling, what do you think you can see yourself doing as a career? Tough question. Maybe an author, because I love to write, but I'm not sure I have the patience for it. I usually write like 75 to 100 page of a story and then I get bored with it and never finish it. Other than that, I don't really know what else I would aspire to do. I think my future is with wrestling though. If you could have any match with any wrestler either current or in the past, who would it be against? I can't just pick one. There are quite a few people I have thought about wrestling. Dean Malenko, Bret Hart, Owen Hart, Chris Benoit, X-Pac, Christian, Spike Dudley, Eddie Guerrero, and Chavo Guerrero Jr. are all people I wish I could have a match with. Maybe some of them I will. I certainly hope so. If you were wrestling your last match ever, would you want it to end so that you were made to look good or so that the other person would be put over? If I was in a position to help somebody else get over in my last match, then that would definitely be how I would want my career to end. I would hope that my career up to that point would be able to stand alone. To me, helping out a wrestler that deserves the extra help to get over would be ending my career on a high note. Are there any things that make you want to just quit wrestling all together? There have been plenty of things that have made me want to give up wrestling in the past. This is a tough business and not for everybody. The pain, not knowing if I could do this stuff, wrestling politics....these were all reasons for me having to rethink what I really wanted. But I haven't thought those things for quite a while. I know this is what I'm supposed to do, and I am very confident that I will succeed at it. What has been the most difficult part of your wrestling career or your time learning to wrestle? Overcoming my size disadvantage, getting over my fear of pain, and actually trying to find shows to wrestle on. Are there any kinds of matches that you are afraid of being in? Barbed wire matches come to mind LOL. I think there's a difference between being afraid of being in a certain match and not wanting to be in a certain match though. I'm scared of doing lots of matches. I'd be a tad bit afraid of wrestling in a ladder match but that doesn't mean I wouldn't want to do the match. Like I said though, barbed wire matches are a bit different LOL. What do you value most in life? My freedom and life itself. What is your favorite wrestling theme song (past or present)? Well, this is an interesting question. I have more than just one favorite. Demolition's theme song was awesome. So was the old ECW them song for Shane Douglas "Perfect Strangers". Rob Van Dam's old ECW music "Walk" was good too. I like so many that it's hard to name them all. Maybe someday I'll make a list of my favorite wrestling theme songs LOL. Who were your favorite wrestlers growing up? Bret Hart, Randy Savage, and Ric Flair were wrestlers who I liked the most. What made you decide to get into wrestling as a career? It's just something I knew I wanted to do since the age of 12. I watched wrestling occasionally before that. Junkyard Dog was the first wrestler I ever watched. But I became obsessed with pro wrestling. There was nothing else like it in the world, in my eyes. I watched these larger than life athletes doing these amazing things and being part of these interesting stories. I wanted to be them. I wanted to be part of that, and that's all I seriously wanted to do. I became determined to study the business and do *whatever* it took to make it in this business. And that's how my dream started, and I'm still in the beginning stages of it. I have so much left to accomplish but I am not going to allow anything to stop me.
