PSYCHO'S COMMENTARY

Hello Everyone. First off, I want to apologize to any of my fans that have sent me e-mails lately for not responding to them yet. I'm not ignoring you. I've just been busy lately and have fallen a little behind in answering e-mails. I assure you though that I will respond to everybody that has sent me an e-mail recently. It may not be a long response, but it will be a response.

Lots going on in the world of wrestling lately huh? What a few weeks it has been. In the span of just a few weeks, we get the return of Shawn Michaels....Steve Austin walking out on WWE....Debra calling the police on her husband, Steve Austin, for beating her....WWE saying Austin is gone....the debut of a new promotion in the form of NWA/TNA....and last but certainly not least, Vince Russo returning to WWE. Hell has indeed frozen over. I wish I had the time to comment on all of this in here, but I think for now I will stick to news that affects me....

As you probably know by now, I have agreed to wrestle for American Professional Wrestling once again. This is the promotion that used to be called Intermountain Pro Wrestling. Now before anybody starts calling me a hypocrite, I would like to explain myself. Well, basically, I don't have to explain myself to anybody but I owe people some sort of explanation. I still stand by everything that I said. Everything I had a gripe about before, I still have a gripe about. But most of what I said got taken out of context and misunderstood. I want to clear the air once and for all and explain my return. First of all, while I don't think it's a good idea for "youngsters" to be wrestling, that's not really the main problem I had. And everybody took what I said to mean that I included everybody with American Pro Wrestling in this category. That's not true. But with that said, I did have a problem with "wrestlers" wrestling on shows when they clearly aren't ready to be having matches in front of a crowd. You can't train yourself until you know the basics at the very least. In order to learn the basics you need somebody to train you that has been trained *fully* themselves. Everybody knows where I stand with this. Lots of the trained wrestlers are working with these "newbies" making sure they know how to bump and how to do the basics. And it's not just about knowing the moves, it's knowing where to put the moves in a match and how to get the fans to care. The best advice I ever receieved was "wrestling is 40% physical and 60% mental."  I see so much talent in American Pro Wrestling, but these wrestlers were never given the chance to become polished. That's not their fault though. They were given an opportunity and whether it was their time or not, I don't blame them for taking it. Getting back to why I returned to American Pro Wrestling, there are a few reasons. First, I want to be a part of this promotion so that I can help all of these wrestlers that are looking to get better but aren't quite sure how to do that. A fellow wrestler and friend said it best and I agree...I feel like a grandfather passing on my knowledge. A few of us were here before anybody else was. And to be honest, I also returned because I want the extra experience. Any ring time in front of an audience will help. So tomorrow, I am wrestling on American Pro Wrestling's show against Grogenstein. I plan on having a great match, so I would encourage all of you in the area to come check the show out. All the info is in my News/Appearances section of my site.
