PSYCHO'S COMMENTARY
Home
                             April 8th, 2002

Hello Everyone. I'm sorry this commentary is so much later than I said it would be, and unfortunately it's going to have to be shorter than I had planned also due to some personal problems I have to attend to that I'd rather not talk about. But I will try to make this a somewhat enjoyable commentary.

My Match Of The Week is Booker T vs. Rob Van Dam from WWF Raw. Honorable mention has to go to The Rock vs. Chris Jericho from WWF Smackdown though. I hope good matches continue tonight on Raw and Thursday on Smackdown.

As many of you know, I attended the WWF house show this past Saturday night in Salt Lake City, Utah. I arrived early, and with the help of several people, began to hand out flyers for the "Legend Of Superfly" show which will be held this coming Friday in Layton, Utah. Hundreds of people seemed interested in attending the "Legend Of Superfly" show on Friday. It went far better than I had imagined it would. The show on Friday could very well be a sell out. We might have to turn people away, so if you are interested in attending the "Legend Of Superfly" show this Friday in Layton, Utah, then I would get my tickets early if I were you. But getting back to my story, things went very well on Saturday. I even got noticed by some fans and I had a pleasure meeting them, although I didn't have a whole lot of time to talk due to me being so busy handing out flyers. But hopefully they will be attending the show on Friday.

As far as the WWF house show goes, here are the results:

For those wondering, yes, there are indeed fireworks at house shows also and yes, they are loud! LOL

Spike Dudley & Crash defeated Steven Richards & Tommy Dreamer. This was a very funny match in the beginning. Good opener.

Brock Lesnar defated D-Lo Brown. Brock Lesnar is indeed just as impressive in a match as he has been on television with his run-ins. In fact, even more so. That guy is going to be a star. It was also good to see D-Lo Brown again. He got quite the ovation after the match and rightfully so.

Trish Stratus & Jacqueline defeated Molly Holly & Jazz. This was a good women's tag match. I have newfound respect for Trish Stratus after this match. Not just because she continues to improve with every match, but because of her passion. It was very clear while watching her live that she has a great love for this business and for her fans. That's what I came away with anyway. And she's tough too lol. She took a suplex on her head that made me cringe! LOL

Scott Hall was unable to make his scheduled tag match at this show due to "travel problems" so instead the tag match was splitted into two singles matches with somebody taking Hall's place. And what we got was Bradshaw defeating Justin Credible. Imagine that...a Kliq member taking Hall's place lol. I was thinking during this match about how I'd love to see Bradshaw wrestle Brock Lesnar one day and somebody else must have been thinking the exact same thing, cause after the match who should run down to attack Bradshaw? None other than Brock Lesnar. That's who! They brawled until officials had to seperate them. I hope we get that match at Backlash.

The Hardy Boyz defeated Mr. Perfect & Shawn Stasiak. The Hardy Boyz are still majorly over with the fans and the fans were into this match big time. I, however, was not that into this match. Too long for what it was, in my opinion. But my opinion may be biased here. I fully admit that.

Goldust defeated Raven by submission. Raven is another who is really over. They need to do more with him.

William Regal defeated Bubba Ray Dudley to become the new WWF Hardcore champion. But it's 24/7, as Goldust comes out and beats Regal to become the new champ, and then Raven comes out and beats Goldust to become the new champ. Bubba then puts Raven through a table and pins him to get his Hardcore title back. Don't expect to hear a word about this on tv though.

Kane defeated X-Pac. The psychology was all wrong in this match though. X-Pac was actually dominating Kane! Kane won but it was in a fluke way. I guess it's good to have friends in high places.

Rob Van Dam defeated Eddie Guerrero to retain his WWF IC Title. Good match. Maybe the best of the night. I can't wait till they are given a ppv match though. They will steal the show.

The finally, The Undertaker pinned Steve Austin with his feet on the ropes. Don't worry though, Taker got a stunner after the match.

That was it for the house show. If even half of the people we gave flyers to at this show come to the "Legend Of Superfly" show this Friday though we will have a packed house I believe. I have a huge match at the "Legend Of Superfly" show. I am wrestling in my first match for a single's championship. But it's not just any title. In a special "IPW Sanctioned Match" I will be wrestling for the Intermountain Pro Wrestling Heavyweight Championship! I will be wrestling The Assassin. I've had many intense battles with The Assassin before and this should be the most intense one yet. The title is on the line. He's going to be fighting to keep it and I'm going to be fighting to win it. I'm sure we'll both do *whatever* it takes to win this one. And to top it off we will be on our biggest show yet. "Legend Of Superfly". There's no telling how far we'll go on this show. I hope to see you there as you witness my biggest match to date.

That's all for this week. I will be back with another commentary on Saturday. After the "Legend Of Superfly" show but before "Bar Brawl" in Sandy, Utah. When I next write a commentary I could very well be the IPW Heavyweight Champion. This is my first shot and I'm going to make the most of it. Laterz.
