| PSYCHO'S COMMENTARY |
| January 5th, 2001 Hello Everyone. There will be no quote for this week, nor will there be a Movie Of The Week. Let me say that 2002 has started to get very interesting. If you haven't seen what is going on at the IPW site's message board then maybe you should go check that out before you read any more of this. It will all make more sense then. What you see over at the IPW site is no work. It's all very real. And it's all very personal. At least 2 wrestlers have quit IPW. I hope that one of them returns. And no, I'm not talking about Derek Vinyard. I had read all of the stuff and at first I wasn't going to take anybody's side. I just wanted to wrestle. But then Derek Vinyard decided to verbally attack me with what he had said. He said that I didn't deserve my award for IPW Face Of The Year. I'm sorry but I was very proud to be named IPW Face Of The Year. It is something that I do feel that I earned. Brick Armstrong and everybody else deserved their awards too. Vinyard is just upset cause he didn't win an award. He said that his match in Ogden with Chaos got cheers. Excuse me, but the only time a Derek Vinyard match ever got a reaction was when I was a part of it. It's pretty sad, cause Derek Vinyard and Chaos were having a match in Ogden and all the fans were more interested in screaming for Psycho and Pookins. Again, I'm not trying to be egotistical or anything, I'm just stating facts. I'm sure everybody else in IPW would back me up on this. The one problem that exists in Intermountain Pro Wrestling is egos. I just want to wrestle. Have I ever demanded to win a match? No, I have not. I am perfectly fine with losing as long as it makes sense. I just want to see IPW take off. I think all of the wrestlers deserve to get their chance. But in order for that to happen we all have to keep our egos in check and let Jamon do his job. If you aren't in the main event, who cares? Jamon knows what he's doing. If you see otherwise, then feel free to go somewhere else. I trust Jamon though. Do I always agree with his creative choices? No, but I listen and respect his wishes. The only way we are going to get order in this promotion is by having a leader. And like it or not, Jamon is that leader. No, I'm not kissing ass. We all agreed to put Jamon in charge of running our shows. We can't have any wrestlers dictating the way a show should be run any longer. I'm tired of all the egos. Everybody's bitching about not having a show in December. We would have if it wasn't cancelled, but stop complaining. I look at it as a Christmas vacation to rest our bodies (And man, did my body ever need resting! LOL). I see great things for Intermountain Pro Wrestling this year if we all just give it a chance. Welcome to the world of Independent Pro Wrestling. If you don't like it, nobody is demanding that you stick around. To close my column, I will give Poll results along with my Match Of The Week. In the Weekly Poll, "Made In Japan" Jason Ray won for the person you most want to see Psycho wrestle in 2002. I just hope he sticks around so I have the chance to wrestle him. Here are the full results: The Assassin 5% Derek Vinyard 3% Grogenstein 3% "Made In Japan" Jason Ray 70% T.K. Owens 0% Brick Armstrong 3% "Outlaw" Mike Knox 0% Mike Mondragon 0% Storm 16% My first Match Of The Week of 2002 is Kurt Angle & Chris Jericho vs. Rob Van Dam & Edge from WWF Smackdown. That's all I have to say for this week. It should be an interesting week. Laterz. IPW's Face Of The Year (and damn proud of it!) -Psycho |
