PSYCHO'S COMMENTARY
Home
June 23rd, 2001

Hello Everyone! I may not have gotten this up on time this week, but it is once again a *huge* commentary. I've got a lot to get into, so I'm going to get right into it.

As many of you may have already saw, I have a new e-mail address. It is [email protected] Send all mail that you have for me to there.

My Movie Of The Week is "Vertical Limit", starring Chris O'Donnel and Bill Paxton. It might not be the best movie, but I enjoyed it. That's all that matters right?

My Match Of The Week is Steve Austin and The Dudley Boyz vs. Chris Jericho, Chris Benoit, and Spike Dudley from WWF Raw. This match was really only up against the rest of Raw though, because I didn't get to see any other wrestling this week.

As a follow-up to my 100 Greatest Matches Of All Time list that I did last week, I thought I'd do some math for you all. Some of you may find this interesting. Here are the 10 wrestlers who appeared on my list the most. In parenthesis is the # of times they made the list.
1. Bret Hart (18)
2. Shawn Michaels (14)
3. Chris Benoit (14)
4. Steve Austin (12)
5. Ric Flair (10)
6. Mick Foley (10)
7. Triple H (9)
8. Chris Jericho (9)
9. The Rock (9)
10. Randy Savage (6)
Here are the 5 PPV's that appeared on my list the most:
1. WWF Wrestlemania (17)
2. WWF Summerslam (12)
3. WWF Survivor Series (5)
4. WWF Royal Rumble (5)
5. WCW Halloween Havoc (5)

Now I'm going to give my thoughts on WWF Tough Enough. I think it's a great show. It's turning out to be even better than I thought it would be. None of the "winners" know what they are getting into. I think this show is going to make huge stars out of Tazz and Al Snow. Tazz especially. I found a lot of joy in watching Tazz chew them out. I've been reading other people's thoughts of Tough Enough and most are overwelmingly positive for the show. I did, however, read about how some people thought Tazz was being too hard on them. Too hard on them?? What a load of crap! These contestants get to stay in a huge house with a hot tub and even if they don't win, what do they care? They were on tv. They had their 15 minutes of fame. These contestants don't know what "hard" is. If you want to get into this business, then damn right it's going to be hard. It's not easy. And it shouldn't be either. I believe in paying your dues. I don't care how physically gifted you are or how much drive and determination you have. This is not easy. In fact, it's one of the hardest things you would ever face in your life. I don't care who you are. You know what pisses me off though? People who just assume that they can make it in this business. People who just want to be "big stars" and they have no idea what pro wrestling is really about. When Tazz or any other trainer chews out these wrestler wannabes, it will usually weed out these arrogant, ignorant, wastes of their time. Nobody knows what pro wrestling is really about until you become one, and even then, some pro wrestlers still don't get it. It's not even something you can really explain either. So if you want to train to be a pro wrestler, don't go in there with an attitude. Shut your mouth, open your ears, and show some respect. You know nothing. And don't ever think you know it all. You don't. No pro wrestler knows it all. We are *always* learning. If you are in this business and you think there's nothing left for you to learn, then you better get out of this business right now. Excuse me, if I was "too hard" on anybody out there.

Here are my WWF King Of The Ring predictions:

Steve Austin vs. Chris Jericho vs. Chris Benoit "Triple Threat WWF Title Match"
prediction - Chris Jericho

Kurt Angle vs. Shane McMahon "Street Fight"
prediction - Kurt Angle

King Of The Ring Tournament
prediction - Rhyno

Jeff Hardy vs. X-Pac "WWF Light Heavyweight Title Match"
prediction - Jeff Hardy

That's all the matches announced so far for King Of The Ring. We'll see how many predictions I get right of the matches that are announced though. It should be interesting. I'll be back in a week with another commentary. Let's see how much hate mail I get LOL. Laterz.
