Love is a phrase.
Love is a state of being.
Love is a gift given to a special someone.
Love is a friendship shared by all.
Love is a definition of happiness.
Love is a picture on the wall.
Love is being there when you're needed.
Love is knowing how to forgive and forget.
But among all these things love is that thing that keeps us
    together and lets us know who we are.
Without love we would not be together, sharing the same moon
    and stars, so without love we have nothing but a memory of
    a forgotten time.
Love is yours.
Love is mine.
Love helps us in special times.
Love is good.
Love is a crime.
Love is so many things no one really could define all the many
    meanings of that special word that I know means you are mine.
   

I Miss You

I wish I could talk to you
much more then I can,
stand right beside you
while holding your hand,
but you are so far
away from my reach
that I cannot grab hold,
from across this big breach.

Things are not easy,
that is so true,
but sometimes it's worth it
for me and for you.
We look to the future
for the next time we meet,
and know that the present
we're able to beat.
