Cheating in Banjo-Kazooie is a little more complicated than it is in most games. First, you must unlock Treasure Trove Cove and learn the Breegull Bash and Egg Shot moves on Mumbo's Mountain. Go to Treasure Trove Cove and find Leaky the Bucket. Give him two eggs to plug his leak and he'll drain the water around the sand castle. Inside you'll find that the floor has all of the letters of the alphabet in it. Here is where you'll input the passwords that unlock all of the game's secrets and cheats.
Go back to Banjo's house and look at the portrait of Bottles the mole. You'll go to a picture puzzle minigame. Complete the picture and you'll win one of Bottles' bonus cheats. You can get seven different cheats this way, and you can't activate the cheats until Bottles has given you the password. Here's what the passwords do:

For this set of cheats, you must first spell out the word CHEAT on the floor. The moo of a cow will accompany each letter. Spell out the phrases below to enable the cheat. When you complete the phrase, you'll hear another moo.

These 'Stop'N'Swop' secrets were meant to be unlocked by swapping Banjo-Kazooie with Banjo-Tooie, but plans were changed between games. The items are still unlockable, and here's the method to doing so. Like the cheat passwords above, you must first spell CHEAT on the sandcastle floor. Once you collect the items, though, they'll remain collected, even if you delete all game data.
