Nintendo DS

When first announced, Nintendo's innovative dual-screen portable system was met with mixed emotions. Why two screens? Because the bottom screen is touch-sensitive, resulting in a remarkable new way to play games. A stylus or your finger can be used to make menu selections, draw various items, fire weaponry, write messages - and that's only the tip of the iceberg. Future games for this system promise even more surprising uses for the touch-screen. Add to this the built-in PictoChat program, microphone and wireless communication features, and you shall see that Nintendo has provided a very interesting portable indeed. It is now one of Nintendo's best selling products, thanks in large part to its appeal to older gamers and the surprisingly successful 'Touch Generations' software series.
