RICK REILLY
Rick talks with students in a reporting class in the Journalism school.
Rick fills the Glenn Miller Ballroom for the public forum entitled "Why are we here."
Rick Reilly joined Sports Illustrated in 1985 and has risen to become one of the magazines most talented and popular writers.  He has been named Sports Writer of the Year seven times.  A native of Boulder, Colorado Reilly graduated from the University of Colorado in 1981.  He was a reporter for the Daily Camera from '79-'81, the Denver Post from '81-'83, and the Los Angeles Times from '83-'85.  He has written a myriad of comedic novels about sports, many of them about golf, his true love.  He has 3 times had the terrible misfortune of having to accompany the Sports Illustrated swimsuit girls.  Reilly married his high school sweetheart and lives with his 3 children in Denver.
