I’m really a very voracious reader and presently am into fantasy fiction. I wished to share some of the books that I am reading with all you gullible people who are actually bothering to read any of this J.

I’m categorizing the books

1)     Fantasy Fiction:

a)     Robert Jordan – The Wheel Of Time series (10 books and still 2-3 to go) – This is a very good series and any of you who want to start a good magical fiction series this is a very good place to start.

b)     George R R Martin – The Song of Fire and Ice (3 books and 3 to go) – This is also a very good series, but I’ll warn you this is a very dark series. He keeps killing all the heroes and heroines.

c)      J R R Tolkien – He’s the grand papa of all magical fiction and there’s no need to tell you that he’s great.

d)     Robin Hobb – She’s written 3 book series and they are all continuations, so read them in the correct order.

e)     J K Rowling – Harry Potter (wont say anything else)

f)        David Eddings – He’s got 4 book series under his belt and is one of the best writers in this genre.

c)      Terry Pratchet – If you like Douglas Adams, you'll love this guy. He's the god of humorous magical fiction, so harry potter fans, heres another author to feast your eyes on.

2)     Science Fiction:

a)     Isaac Azimov – This man is simply the god of SF and there’s no man I’d advice first time readers of SF to read then Azimov.

b)     Arthur C Clarke – The Odyssey series is one of the all time greats and is a must read.

c)      Douglas Adams – his brand of SF is wacky, zany and the most entertainment books can ever give you. Read him to see the other side of SF.

d)     Michael Crichton – His Jurassic Park has sold millions, and made him millions as well J, but his other books while not quite as famous are very good reads as well.

3)     Other books: (without a category)

a)     P G Wodehouse – This is the MAN. Dont think there’s ever been a funnier writer than him.

b)     Yann Martel – A life of Pi

c)      Frederick Forsyth – The Day of the Jackal

d)     Kahlil Gibran – The Prophet

e)     Robert M Pirsig – Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance

f)        Mario Puzo – The Godfather

c)      Neale Donald Walsch – His 'Conversation with God' series is a real eye opener, in mre ways than one. Even if you dont believe that he's conversing with GOD, still its a recommended read, 'cos what he says makes a lot of sense.

Ok now these are some of the books that I’ve read and am reading. If I remember any other books then I’ll be sure to put it up as well. Ciya
