2/3 cup shortening
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 egg
4 tsp milk
2 cups flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
cream shortening, sugar, and vanilla together.
Add egg and beat until light and fluffy, stir in milk.
Blend dry ingredients into creamed mixture.
Chill dough until ready to cut.
Roll out to 1/8 inch thickness and cut.
Bake on greased cookie sheet at 375 degrees for 6-8 minutes.
