| I have read NIBUT being in Chicago, the place where the book was finalized. The author is a female novelist, Muluwork Asrat. I would like to congratulate the author for producing such interesting and informative novel book for our society. Nibut was written in Amharic language and full of suspense. I am pleased to be one of the persons to read the book. To me, NIBUT is historic in a sense that it was the first Amharic novel book etirely addressing Ethiopian women living in Ethiopia and in the United States. The book clrealiy reflects the social, cultural and economic life of women and the actual relationship exisitng between men and women in both places. I found NIBUT to be informative, since the story was founded on the social reality of our society. The book touches every facets of our life beginning from Ethiopia up to the United States. It explains the actual and realistic relationships exisiting between loving Ethiopian couple after arriving in the united state. So I found to be very informative especially for some one who is interested to know the social, cultural, pychological ... etc differences exisitng between home country and America.
