The
Niagara Youth Drama Association (N.Y.D.A.) was created in 2002. It was created
as a ministry for young adults who take an interest in drama. The purpose of the
ministry is not only to reach out to the community, but also to minister to it's
members.
Last year saw N.Y.D.A.'s first major production
"Into the
Wardrobe",
a stage adaptation of C.S. Lewis' famous children's book
The Lion,
the Witch and the Wardrobe.
This production was performed at four different venues throughout the Niagara
Region.
This year, N.Y.D.A. is focusing on a musical drama called
SHINE!
which is based on the songs of The NEWSBOYS, an Australian rock group.
