INTO the
WARDROBE
Into the
Wardrobe
is a two-act stage adaptation of C.S. Lewis' children's book
The Lion, the
Witch and the Wardrobe.
It was first performed at Redeemer Bible Church on Sunday, June 6th. It featured
Steve Beresh as ASLAN and Julie Sidorenko as the WHITE WITCH. This performance
received a standing ovation and Julie received a show stopping applause for her
cameo-appearance as MRS. MACREADY.
For two weeks following its premier,
Into the Wardrobe
traveled to Eden Secondary School and Sherkston Brethren in Christ Church and
performed for an intimate audience at Port Colburn United Church.
N.Y.D.A. was asked by many patrons to continue performances, but because of
previous engagements of the cast and crew this was not in the cards. Into
the Wardrobe
has not been "put in the vault" yet and plans for a revival are in the works for
the near future.
