Hi, it's me! (4 months old)
Amin is the first child in the family. He was due to arrive on the 17th November 1999. However,
due to his breech position and mom having pre-eclampsia, the doctor decided to have a planned C-section
on the 3rd November 1999. But then again, Amin wants to be out in this world at his own time.
On Monday 1st November 1999, Amin came through emergency C-section at 11.38 am, weighing 2.86 kg.
A sharp chin like his mother, lips like his father and with his tiny head full of hair, he's all so round and puffy.
The pediatrician came in on the very same day, 6 hours after delivery, to inform about his suspicion.
A week later, the chromosome test came back with positive result. Amin was born with Down Syndrome.
To us, apart from him having an extra chromosome,he's simply perfect and adorable. And we all LOVE him
just the way he is. He is special!
Amin has indeed open up a different perspective in life, that everybody in the family can learn from.
