Decorating for Christmas
On Thanksgiving weekend, I usually do all my decorating.  I really like to put everything up early  so we can enjoy it all.  The month goes by so quick. I decorate every room.

My Livingroom
I have a 7 and 1/2 ft Balsom Fir Tree.  I use  homemade ornaments and special ornaments that have been given to me.  I have always put an ornament on the tree to commemorate what each kid was "into" that year.  For Trent, it has been, baseball, basketball, band, old cars, computers etc.  For Jeni, it has been ballet, basketball, Belles(drill team), etc.  This year, Trent is into model airplanes, so I have to find one of those.  For my husband, an ornament with elves on a hammer has been appropriate. This year, he will get a Civil War one.  He's very in to that. I am starting the same tradition for my granddaughter.
I have several collections going on.  I collect Santas, Snowmen, Teddy Bears, angels and birdhouses.  I have a quilted table runner on an old antique sideboard with all my Christmas bird houses on it.  I have lots of candles and potpourri everywhere.

Kitchen
I have blue cobalt dishes above my cabinets.  I put white twinkle lights with greenery in and around the blue dishes.  It is so pretty.  I  do my snowmen in and around my china cabinet.  I have a blue and white quilted table runner on my kitchen table.  I have a small Christmas tree on a half wall, decorated with cookie cutters and red beads and white twinkle lights.
Main Bath
I have a small tree in my guest bath, decorated with white twinkle lights, gold angels, and burgundy and lace bows.  It is decorated victorian.  I have my procelain dolls in there and carrosels.
