Sensei Dovidio is a 8^th degree black belt in Uechi-ryu karate. He has been studying Uechi since 1976 under the guidance of 9^th degree black belt Sensei Buzz Durkin.

In November of 1985 Mr. Dovidio represented the United States in the world Okinawan Sparring Championships which featured competitors from all over the world. He also had the privilege to train with the late Mr. Kanei Uechi, the son of the styles originator, as well as other Okinawan Masters during his visit to Okinawa.

Mr. Dovidio has competed in tournament circuit for years and now is the promoter of the Granite State Open Karate Championships in February. Mr. Dovidio is a Naval Veteran and has his Bachelor of Science degree in Business from New Hampshire College.

He resides in Londonderry, NH with his wife Karen and daughter Melissa and Son Christopher.  Karen Dovidio is also a Karate practitioner and holds the rank of Yondan(4th Degree) and assists in the operation of the school

She has helped in the coordination of the school and her teaching skills are the best in New Hampshire. She is truly a pioneer for women in the Martial Arts.
