Hi, I'm moving in May and have two car projects right now. I will only have time and money for one, so I have to let this one go. I just finished the fuel system and rewiring the ignition. This car runs like a crazed bear!!!!. As you will see in the detailed description below, this motor is not for the faint of heart! This is a real Hot Rod; insane power, no fancy AC and stuff, just primer and flames. Nothing like the sound of a 3/4 race cam and solid lifters churning exhaust notes through dual glasspacks! I had a blast for quite a few years with this car (actually won a second place in a show for Custom, not to mention a few smoking burn-outs!) and I don't want to let it go, but I am going to keep and concentrate on my other project. You have to appreciate the history and excitement these cars created (and still do!) Be sure to see (click to enlarge)  attached pictures for a visual. The front shot shows a tube grill, but that is now gone. Feel free to e-mail me with ANY questions ([email protected]). If you are very serious about taking a look at the car, let me know by e-mail and I'll send you my phone number and we'll hook up.

Specs: 302 .040 over, ¾ race cam, Weiand dual plane intake, Holley 600, C4 auto with trick kit and "manual" over-ride, 9" ford rear. Headers thru glasspacks, flex and electric fan, chrome valve covers, etc. Mallory "6A" Elec. Ignition w/electronic "pointless" distributor. Accel 8mm wires. Have a bunch of receipts and documentation of engine build up. Motor has very few miles on it since rebuild. Auto shifter is tall "traditional, manual looking" with piston knob. Original dash has gauge package mounted underneath by shifter. New "Vintage" tach in chrome cup mounted to steering column. Custom speedo insert in dash with electronic speedo (not hooked up yet). Moon disks on 14" front rims, and 15" rear rims with repo disks. Front dropped 3" with a-arm spacers and one cut coil. Rear still at stock height. All glass is in excellent shape. Two rear windows are plexy type glass with vintage repo drag race, company decals. Interior is black pleated. All in fine shape except front seats. Both need a re-cover. Brand new fuel tank and straps with new fuel gauge float assy and electric fuel pump. Body has some filler, but is fairly straight and strong. "Painted" gray primer with white, yellow to red flame job.

Extra included stuff: Original Ford skirts (ribbed) in great shape with rubber, levers, etc. New turn signal kit. One extra drivers side door, no glass. Drivers side top door section (nos). Window crank assy. '49 Merc grill, in two sections. Needs assembly and rechrome, no center. Extra backup motor parts: alternator, Mallory ignition mod, regulator, starter, etc. All in working order. New rocker panels still in box. Original center gauge assembly. All in great shape, but missing senders. Original side trim pieces.
