BETTER KNOW A GM!
Lawson Cham: Vancouver
Welcome to part two of our 24 part series, better know a GM! Today we look at the Canucks GM lawson Chan. THE FIGHTIN' CHAN! Lawson claims to be a Canadian citizen, but he was really born in downtown Hong Kong where his mother, a one legged prostitue, flaoted him down the Sykow River in hopes that a more generous soul would take care of him. No such luck occured, and he was picked up, to be eaten, by a pack of Panda bears. Realizing that they were vegitarians, the pandas rasied Lawson as one of their own and he turned out to be the strapping young man we see her today. He came to Canada stapped to the underbelly of an Air China jet and when he applied to GM the Vancouver franchise, the owners were so taken back by his story they hired him immediatly. Rage on my Chinese panda bear!...RAGE ON!
Bruce Sprackman: Ottawa
Welcome to part 3 of our very special 24 part series, Better Know a GM. Today we look at new Senators GM, Bruce Sprakman...THE FIGHTIN SPRAK!! Bruce is a member of this great nation's armed forced as he has fought in every major conflict Canada has been in since WWI. One of the most memorable moments of his career is when he enlisted as 85 year old solider in the Korean Conflict of the 1950s. There, almost single handedly, he captured 71 Vietcon (which is odd since the Vietnam War wouldn't start for another 20 years). Nevertheless, Bruce was awarded the Victoria Cross of his efforts, the only man awarded one after WWI. Another one of his many stories is when he was ordered to guard Prime Minister Trudeau during the FLQ crisis, and actully took a bullet for the man in the chest. During his long recooperation, Bruce tought hisself to listen and feel pain again, soemthing that was lost to him since WWII. Rage on my army brother!...RAGE ON!!!
