| The 1st annual NHL vs WHA All Star Game was a success has the WHA squad went on to defeat the NHLers 5-2. Rob Blake, of the LA sharks was named the All-Star Game MVP as he scored 2 goals and one assists for a 3 point night. Ed Belfour also stood tall in net for the WHAers as he stopped 29 of a possible 31 shots in the victory. Overall, Commish Ed Swan was very happ with the event and is even rumoured to be expanding the All-Star weekend to include a Young Guns game and a Goon Game next year. | |||||||||||
