TEAM REVIVALS
With all of the franchise movement in the NHL in the past 25 or so years, some cities have invariably lost their beloved teams. However, with a resurgence in fan support and interested new ownership, some of these cities have been able to reacquire teams through relocation or expansion. Cities like Colorado, Atlanta, and Minnesota have showed us that a city can in fact get a team back after losing one, and the new team can flourish.
This page contains some now defunct teams with die-hard fan bases still in place, even years after losing their teams.
NHL Expansion and Relocation would like to recognize these die-hard fan bases and spread the word about their exploits in trying to get a team back in their town and support their campaigns in doing so.
