Motherwell Fans have the choice of 3 stands at Fir Park (Except when the Grusome Twosome come to town and it is 1 and a bit)

The Phil O'Donnell Stand - The wooden stand with the big yellow stantion hanging out the end. The worst stand of the 3 as there are pillars all over the place and if you sit at the back, you cant see all of the pitch and the seats are uncomfy.

The East Stand - The long stand opposite the Phil O'Donnell Stand is the best for atmosphere in the ground but like the main stand some area's of it you cant see the full pitch unless you stand up.

The Cooper Stand - The best views for the home fans, you can see the whole pitch and there is also a good atmosphere.

Away Support

Away fans (who are not the Grusome Twosome)

South Stand - The best view in the Stadium, especially from the top tier, where if the game is boring, you can watch what is happening outside the ground, although this stand isnt always opened when teams such as ICT or Dundee United come to town, they are usually put in a section of the main stand.

Away fans (who are the Grusome Twosome)

You get the South Stand, Cooper Stand and a large portion of the Phil O'Donnell Stand whilst our fans including me who have paid for Season Tickets in the Cooper Stand are shunted out into the rest of the Phil O'Donnell Stand and the East Stand.

TV Coverage.

Coverage of the games is usually best on Setanta at 11pm on a Saturday Night, only other coverage is on Scotland Today at 6.00 on a Monday on STV or Reporting Scotland at 6.30 on a Monday on BBC1 either that or Scotsport at 11pm on a Monday on STV. (Best to tape it and fast forward it past Andy Walker drooling over Celtic) also we are usually the last game on unless we are playing Rangers or Celtic. Sportscene is also on BBC2 on a Wednesday night at 10pm

Radio Coverage

Best programme is Sportsound on BBC Radio Scotland, usually has coverage of most games (but Motherwell games are usually on the internet commentary or on Radio Scotland in the Inverness area or Aberdeen area if were playing either of them, except for when we play either Rangers or Celtic or if we are the only game midweek, we would be the main game).

Other choice is Clyde 1, they also do coverage but with a huge Old Firm bias i.e. you'd think that Rangers and Celtic were the only 2 teams in Scotland and no one else gets a mention and also has Hugh Keevins who seems to hate Motherwell - Best avoided.

Real Radio also do Scoreflashes and updates every Saturday Afternoon.

Football Phone ins

Best - Real Football Phone In - Real Radio 6pm - 8pm Monday - Friday and 5 -6pm on a Saturday.

Quite simply the best phone in on the radio, not orientated towards old firm so most teams get a look in as presenters dont support Old Firm, Presented by Ewan Cameron and Alan Rough.

Usually a good laugh and keeps you entertained on the way home from football.

Superscoreboard phone in - see clyde 1 above

Sportsound - Your call - Presented by pompous airbag Jim Traynor from the Daily Ranger who take delight in cutting off callers who dont agree with him, also supports Airdrie - Enough said.
