The Intermediate band was very busy in December with concerts at Nanaikapono and Nanakuli Elementary Schools on December 6, 2006 and Ala Moana Center Stage on December 11. Check out roster for this years group photo and gallery for performance photos.
7th Grade Honor Band
For the 3rd consecutive year, Nanakuli had representatives.This years members include: Chanel Smith, Taejiana Gross, and Precious Swope. The concert was held on aturday, May 5, 2007 at the McKinley Auditorium.
Parade of Bands Intermediate Division 2007
On Saturday May 12, the Nanakuli 8th Grade Intermediate Band scored B ratings from the two judges based on National Music Standards. Selections performed were: 1. The Procession of the Nobles by Rimsky-Korsakaov and 2. 1812 Overture by Tchaikowsky.
7th Grade Honor Band 2006
16 schools were represented in this year's Honor Band, 10 private and 6 public. Rehearsals were at Niu Valley Middle School, Univerisity of Hawaii band room, and the performance on May 6 was at the McKinley Auditorium. Nanakuli had 9 representatives in the band: Eric Mitsui, Clair Kahookele, Gage Kamakea, Jahn Kahele-Fontanilla, Moani King, Juliana Ioane, Jazmen Aipoloani, Clara Lefau, and Rylan Mauai.

Parade Of Bands Intermediate Division 2006
On Saturday May 13, Nanakuli entered the Beginning and Interemdiate Bands. Both judges grading the bands on 8 National Music standards were from the University of Hawaii. Selections:
Beginning Band: "Rim Shot Blues" , "Armed Forces March"
Intermediate Band: "Phantom of the Opera", "Cartoon Symphony"
This was only the second time in school history that Nanakuli has participated in this Parade of Bands.
