The boys' and girls' Cross Country Teams had another successful year. Angela Osman highlighted our season by placing 7th at the State Cross Country Meet in Manhattan.Angela also took 1st at the Mid East League Meet, I st at St,Xavier, 3rd at Wabaunsee. 1st at Rossville. 3rd at Chapman.1st at Silver Lake, 2nd at Council Grove, and 3rd at Regionals. Other girls receiving individual medals were Tanja Jorgensen. Nkole Warneke, and Amanda Plo.Abe Forbeck led the Boys' team by placing 1st at Council Grove, 4th at the Mid East League Meet, 4th at Wabaunsee.and finished in the top 8 at every meet except one. Other medal winners were Bob Thompson, Jamie Lee. David Gray, Travis Marcotte. and Lee Lingenfelter.
I want to especially thank our Seniors for their dedicated efforts in making this season such a good experience. The Senior team members listed have paved the way for continued success that our underclassmen will provide next year.
