Mid-East -- Defending Class 3A champions NORTHERN HEIGHTS swept the cross country team titles at Saturday's Jefferson West Invitational. The boys' squad ran away with its crown, scoring 38 points -- half of runner-up Sabetha's point total. Justin Johnson and Ryan Marcotte finished 1-2 and Garret Frank was sixth. The girls' squad scored 50 points and got a third from Amy VanGundy and fifth from Kari Robidou.
