Wondering how you can
help the NH HRS and New Hampshire's rabbits? There are many ways; consider the
following:
·Become a member. Membership in
the NH chapter helps rabbits in the state.
·Make a contribution of any amount. Even if you don't want
to be a member, all contributions are tax deductible.
·Donate food, money, or materials (toys, litter/bedding,
equipment). All donations are tax deductible.
·Pass along our website address to all your friends. If you have a website, we welcome you to add a link to us.
·Volunteer
in the rabbit room at your local shelter. We have guidelines to help you
understand the shelter volunteer process. Changes and improvements sometimes
come slowly; it's important to approach your shelter volunteering with
realistic and clear expectations. Give a call, or send us an e-mail, we'll be glad to help you
prepare for a successful shelter volunteer experience.
·Purchase a copy of the House Rabbit Handbook and donate it
to your local public or school library, shelter, or veterinarian's office.
Again, the cost is tax deductible. You can get a copy through your local
bookstore or on the web from our national site.
·For more information, or to contribute an idea to this
list, send us an e-mail or give a
call at 603.569.9372.
We in the NH HRS and all the rabbits thank you!
