One of the most popular events of the curling season, this bonspiel is played in early December and gives members a chance to win their Christmas turkey. Open to all members, this funspiel takes place over two weeks and general involves 5 games a team. It is capped off by the Christmas sherry party on the final Saturday with the turkey toss to the button and the wonderful potluck supper put on by the ladies. Overall, a wonderful time and an excellent change for mingling between the seniors, the juniors and the regular curlers. |
