The North Harris County Texas
Sigma Kappa Alumnae Chapter
1996-97 Highlights
-
In November, we collected items for the Maine Seacoast Missionary Society. This is one of Sigma Kappa's oldest philanthropic endevors.
-
Our favorite event is always our December Christmas Ornament exchange. We all went home with
a lovely ornament and Christmas cookies.
-
In January, began our chapter scrapbook with a class from Creative Memories.
-
In February, we met for a fun night of bunko.
-
In March, we met all painted t-shirts, and had a great time.
-
In April, we held an afternoon BBQ with our spouses and dates.
-
In May we had our salad supper, and installation on new officers.
-
Our highlight of the year was again our Mother/Daughter Tennis
Tournament held in February. Since this was our second one, we knew better what to expect, and we had a wonderful day.
