Check out the ported exhaust on this one!  It's approx. 8 HP. It doesen't have a nameplate , but it's definately a St. Albans.
If you look closely , you can see the hookup latch for the Hit-n-miss governing This engine belongs to a friend.
This engine is mine. It's one of 2 known of this size. Approx. 4 HP. The other one is probably saveable , but in very poor condition. What's missing in this picture is the Lunkenheimer mixer , which is located at the very bottom of the engine! This is one of the characteristics of a St. Albans. As you can see , the governor system is very close to the larger model. It is not known if there were other sizes made.
