Múa Lân Productions Card Captor Sakura
It's definitely a show animed at little girls, but the thing is that it's done extremely
well, with a fresh approach to the storylines. The Pokémon influence shows in
the premise, a young girl named Sakura accidently released all the "Clow Cards"
from this old book in
her ment and now she has to get them back with the help of a little dog-like
sprite named Kero-chan. Each card has a different power, and when Sakura gets a card,
she gets that power. For example, the first card is "Fly." The music in the series
is just awesome (and cute) for a kid's show. In other words, this anime is just a
lot more fun than it really should be. :) But here's the news: It's coming to America
on Kid's WB this fall! So you'll be able to see it, except it will be dubbed in English.
I think they're calling it "Card Captors" over here,
and hope for it to be a Pokémon-style show for girls.
