What a Psychic Isn't
Not all psychics are the same. This is something that people need to understand. Not all of us can see the future. Not all of us see and communicate with the dead. It's quite "instyle" in the movies about psychics now, to have one seeing the souls of the dead everywhere they go. Movies like "The Sixth Sense" and "Stir of Echoes" have become a popular ideal for characterizing psyshics. Before this current trend, it was a psychic who had a "link" to a killer's mind or the famous "flashes" of a future event. Indeed, all these things exist in the worlds of psychics. Important to remember though- just like you are not your neighbor not all psychics are the sameMovies have both helped and hindered the psychic community. Everytime a new movie comes out, it seems as though there is a fresh batch of psychics ready to go. This can be amusing or a frustrating annoyance. Some time, park yourself in a metaphysical chatoom when one of these new movies has come out. You'll see exactly what I mean. The secret though? True psychics are drawn to one another. Instinctively we all know who is who, what is what- and who just isn't.
