I got the idea for Aquaman from Beetle (check out his great Aquaman and other animated figures). The base is a World's Finest Batman. I added sculpey to the chest and right arm to make the armor. I used a straight metal ruler to etch in the armor lines around the chest area. I used thick suture wire to etch in the armor lines around the arms although any thick thread should work. I sanded down the old belt adn glued on the "A" which was a cut out strip from an old credit card. I made the scales on the side of his legs by first shaving off a layer of plastic. I then added a 1mm thick layer of sculpey and etched in each line using a sewing pin. The fins onthe back of his legs are made from casted plastic and glued on via superglue. The hook on his left arm came from a TJ Aquaman. I inserted a pin so teh harpon can rotate as well as removed for firing sequences. The head made from scratch with the hair compliments of a ToyBiz White Queen.
