If I had any regret about this project, it was making this figure 9" instead of 12". The larger format would've allowed me to create more detailed gadgets and weapons. Then again, Sean Connery didn't really have many gadgets in his 6 Bond appearances. It was during the Roger Moore era that the Q department started putting out elaborate gadgets/ weapons. That said, Sean Connery is still my favorite 007.

You can't have a Bond and not have his trusty Walther PPK. Q gave it to him after his Berreta misfired in From Russia with Love. Customizing this gun gave me a new appreciation of guys like Richard E Bonhamm. It takes a lot of discipline to sit there and replicate every exacting detail even though most people won't be able to tell the difference. If you know your Walther PPK, then you can tell I took the lazy route :-). The clip and safety lock isn't as detailed as it should be and the shell releasing chamber is slightly forward (not that you can really see these details with that cheesy scan). Just for fun, I threw in a silencer and shoulder holster. In addition to his trusty firearm, 007 is also equiped with an attache case featuring a secret compartment with a 3-piece assembly sniper gun. There's a knife and camera that he often used in his early movies. Most of these weapons came from the Action Jackson Spy set. Also I threw in some night vision goggles and Laptop with removable CD Rom and disk even though Sean never used them

BTW, if anyone can get me an Austin Martin in 1:8 scale, you will be handsomely rewarded :-).
