1999 - Just Might Survive
Missing Home

The door opens to my room
Back when I was staying home
Shelves of books line the wall
Clothes and papers on the floor

In the front the pictures hand
sames faces, seems like nothing changes
Mom's plants surround the windows
Blocking the sunlight
And no view from the outside

Whenever I go somewhere
I'm missing home
Far away from my family
And the things we did
Whenever I do something
I remember home
Whenever I feel lonely
There are those memories

Dad used to cook sometimes
When mom came home late
The dining room was where we all sat
And ate and talked of matters

Then there were times
When we'll run into trouble
Mom and dad, sisters and brothers
Fights raging out, screaming and shouting
But altogether we'll compromise
And continue on

Whenever I go somewhere
I'm missing home
Far away from my family
And the things we did
Whenever I do something
I remember home
Whenever I feel lonely
There are those memories

I'm missing home
I'm missing home
I'm missing home
