West Side
Moving away from my dorm, we go southwest past the Forum, Palmer Museum of Art, Rec Hall, Waring Commons, Paterno Library, Sparks Building, Willard Building, and many of the squirrels on campus...
The Forum...  Most of the main lectures are in this building for the 300+ class sizes...
Inside, you can see the large number of seats and the technology available.  There are microphone systems, a projector, and overhead, a chalkboard, and a computer in each room for teaching.
The Palmer Museum of Art.  A very nice art collection, but I personally don't feel the need to go there except when I went last semester for Art History class.
Rec Hall...  The place I work my but off in to get bigger, stronger, and sexier, of course...  :-P
Waring Commons
Home of the best commons food.  Well, I've only been to two of them, and this is better than Warnock Commons... Ha, ha.
Paterno Library
Considered the finest library in the world...  Well, I don't know about that, but Joe Paterno put millions into it.  That has to count for something.  It's huge and has everything you need to get through your college career at Penn State.
On the right is Sparks Building, one of the other buildings used for its two large lecture halls.  On the left (taken just for my dad) is the Burrowes building, which says "College of Education" on it. ;) ;) Dad...
Here is one of the many squirrels that like to run around campus.  Very cute things.  I've had aspirations of getting one to climb on my shoulder since I got here... :-P
This is the Willard building.  It's another one of those buildings that seems to have a lot of things going on in it.  Usually there are large activities in here with each individual part held in each classroom.
Shwab Auditorium
This is a very nice auditorium with a capacity of over 1,000.  Great for small gatherings, but large crowds should be sent to Eisenhower Auditorium.
Sackett Building...  Nothing exciting, but I wanted to show it because I've had my English 15 and Speech Com 100A in here and resent the building for housing English classes....  Grrr....
The paths from Paterno Library, past Willard, and down to College Ave.  As you can see, it gets busy on these paths between classes.  There is also this guy who preaches his religious beliefs every school day in front of Willard (right).  I named him the "Town Crier".
