No one can make you feel inferior without your consent. |

As I sat inside my car preparing for my interview, wondering what to do, a leaf, floating in the air, came to rest upon my lap. Staring at the leaf, I realized that we are surrounded by miracles that touch our lives in ways we may never understand. Whatever path we choose to travel, we will find a place where we belong. I then picked up the leaf and let it fall to the ground.
I needed to make a decision and felt uncertain about things. Not knowing what else to do, I said a prayer and asked for some guidance. It was then that I stumbled on a fallen branch and thought about how a tree has roots and branches that grow in different directions, seeking sunlight and water.
Going for a run outside, it came to me that love is a feeling of emptiness when our spirit is with another. It is the sensation that overwhelms us when our soul is touched.
respecting your own uniqueness approving of all your actions acknowledging your good qualities loving and respecting your body letting others into your feelings and thoughts following your own guidance seeing your own perfection surrounding yourself with beauty creating new friends rewarding yourself, never pushing yourself trusting yourself nourishing yourself with good food and good ideas seeing yourself equal to others forgiving yourself letting in affection authority over yourself, not giving it to another developing your creative drives really talking to yourself gently and lovingly becoming your own inner parent turning your negative thoughts into positive ones knowing that you deserve the best

I will not die an unlived life. I will not live in fear of falling or catching fire.
I choose to inhabit my days, to allow my living to open me. Make me less afraid, more accessible, to loosen my heart until it becomes a wing, a torch, a promise
I choose to risk my significance To live so that which came to me as seed goes to the next as blossom And that which came to me as blossom goes on as fruit.
Dawna Markova
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.
We were born to make manifest the Glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fears, our presence automatically liberates others.
1994 Inaugural Speech Nelson Mandela
People are often unreasonable, illogical, and self centered; forgive them anyway
If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives; be kind anyway.
If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies; succeed anyway.
If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous; be happy anyway.
Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough; give the world the best you have anyway.
You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and God; it was never between you and them anyway.
