Michaels POV

Have you ever had that feeling in your heart when you know something is wrong and cant tell anyone? Have you ever felt the need to tell the people you love that theyre wrong, that they dont know the truth? That feeling is the worst feeling Ive ever felt in my life. Its just knawing at my heart and I dont know if I can handle too much more of it. I know Im strong and that my body can endure more than I can ever imagine, but my mind is different. My mind is becoming weaker and soon I will break down. Ive got to tell someone, but who? Max will deny what I tell him. Isabel will just run away. Theres no way Maria will believe me. Shes so glad that I stayed behind. How can I break her heart now? Liz will just stick by Max. No one knows the real truth, they just know what they believe.

I got off that granolith for a reason, and it wasnt Maria. Sure, Ive found a home here in Roswell, but that would never be enough to keep me here. No. My reason was for a much more important reason.Tess. I KNOW it wasnt her who tricked Alex and killed him. It wasnt Tess who spent two months obsessed with dreamwalking Alex. No. It wasnt her.

Hey you guys! I just checked to see if anyone liked my story and I was amazed! Yikes, Im so glad you love my story. I wasnt done this part, but I just HAD to put it up. The next part will be here veeeery soon. I Promise!

Michael sat at his computer in his apartment, typing frantically. He finished his paragraph and pressed SEND. He waited for a few minutes and then sat up when he saw a message enter the screen. She left alone? Her plan didnt work! How are Max and Isabel? Are they okay? Michael started typing again. They are pretty shook up about the whole thing. Im really sorry to say, but Max is incredibly pissed off with Tess. Isabel is fine. She doesnt talk that much, but she is spending a lot of time with her parents. I think the whole leaving home to go home thing really made her realize how much she really loved her parents. You doing fine? He pressed SEND. A few moments later came a response. Im okay. He hasnt touched me all day, so Im fine. My bruises are fading so maybe Ill be able to go out soon. I wish I could see you. You and everyone else. Its been so long. Michael typed again. Dont worry, Ill find you. Everything is going to be alright. Just hand in there. Dont let him see your pain. Just let him hit you. Show him youre strong. You know Ill be there with you soon. I WILL find you. He pressed SEND. A final message came up. Hes coming, so I have to stop now. Please hurry. I love you. Good bye. ~~ Your sister.  Michael sat back in his chair, fighting back the tears that filled his eyes. Maria slammed down the phone in frustration. Shed tried calling Michael for the umpteenth time and still the signal was busy. What on earth could he be doing? Could he be on the internet for that long? Maria wondered what kept Michael on the phone for so terribly long. She decided to go over to Michaels to see what was going on.

Michaels head jerked up at the sound of the door opening and slamming shut. Maria he thought. He quickly exited the chat room and turned off the computer. Maria came storming into the room. Michael! What is this? Ive been trying to call you for the past hour and your phone is busy. We promised wed talk today. Whats up with that? Maria spoke, sounding as pissed off as she could. Michael looked up at her, his eyes still blood shot and wet. He said, Im sorry. I was busy. Marias face softened immediately and she came closer to Michael. Whats wrong?  He wiped away his tears as he tried to prepare a speech in his head. Forget it! Ive got to tell someone now and it might as well be Maria. Michael yelled in his mind. Then he started. I was chatting in a secret chat room with my sister.  What? You dont have a sister.  Yes, I do. Its Tess. Tess is my sister.  Maria sat down, trying as hard as she could to believe that what Michael was telling her was true. Michael, Tess isnt here anymore. Shes gone.  No! Shes not gone! Did you ever think for a second that Tess might not be Tess? That Tess that you knew as the killer wasnt who you thought she was. Shes Ava. He stopped to let Maria absorb what he was telling her. Then he continued. She came here and took Tesss place two and a half months ago. Shes the one who went to Vegas with us. It wasnt Tess.  I dont understand. Where is Tess? The real Tess? Maria asked in confusion. I dont know. The only thing I know is that shes with Rath and Lonnie.  What! Is she okay?  She says they beat her a lot. I dont know what they all do to her, but I know its bad. She has bruises all the time.  How do you know this? Have you talked to her?  She mindwarps people and gets them to go on the internet and chats with me in our chat room. Its kind of like how Larek uses Brody as a vessel. Ive talked to her on the phone twice through some one too.  How long have you known about this? I mean, did you know from the beginning?  Yeah. I got a message one night from her saying she needed me. I went over to her house and we talked for a while. She said she felt like something really bad was going to happen and she wanted me there with her. Thats when she told me she was my sister. We fell asleep pretty soon, but then they came. They came and took her away. I tried to stop them, but they fought back. Ava tried to mindwarp me and make me forget, but it didnt work. I went along with what she was saying and she never knew it didnt work. Tess kept talking through my head for a long time, telling me she was okay. I could tell she was getting weaker. They were pumping drugs into her, trying to stop her from contacting anyone. Soon, I couldnt hear her anymore and she was gone. I.II was so scared. Michael broke down in tears as Maria held him close in her arms. Shhhhh. Its okay. Its gonna be alright. Somehow, well find her and bring her back home.

Hey Tessy girl! Go and get us some Sprites, pronto! And dont try any of your mindwarping games on anyone. You know whatll happen if you do. Zan yelled into the back of the van. Tess got up from her seat and opened the van door. She hopped out, gulping the fresh air. She walked into the store and headed towards the freezer with all the pop. She picked out two bottles of Sprite and brought them to the counter. Is that all? The cashier looked at her strangely.  Yeah. Tess replied in a solemn voice. She looked up at the cashier and noticed the stare he was giving her. What? She asked. Oh, nothing. Um, your tempo is bleeding. Do you want a Band-Aid? I can give you one. The cashier offered. No thanks. Im fine. Ive got some in the car. Bye. Tess said and she walked off. As she walked towards the van, she put her hand up to her tempo and quickly healed the sore. She had been in such a daze that she hadnt realized that Rath had hit her on her way out of the van. She got back in the van and gave Rath and Lonnie their drinks. What took ya so long?!! Lonnie asked in a demanding voice. Nothing. I just couldnt find the Sprites. Sorry. Tess said. Dont let it happen again. For all we know, you could have been mindwarping someone..Thats what you were doin! You were trying to get someone to find help  for you! Youre not goin to get away with it! Rath yelled as he pulled Tess by the hair to the very back of the van. He punched her in the face two times and then once in the stomach.
