"What? You told your grandma? I told you not to tell anyone." Talar was upset that I had broken my promise. I knew I would feel horrible, but I had to. "Talar, if you'd only listen. My dad could help you. Just try it." I pleaded. "Fine. But, if he doesn't find anything, then it's over. No one else finds out." I nodded my head in agreement.
I sat down at one end of the room. Talar and dad sat in the middle of the room, staring at each other. "Okay Talar. Just relax. This isn't going to hurt. I'm going to put my hands on your head and close my eyes. Feel free to close your eyes too. You might feel a bit dizzy. But that's normal. Okay?" Dad said, trying to keep him calm. "Yeah." Was all he could say. He was so nervous. Dad closed his eyes and put his hands on Talar's head. Mom sat next to me, holding my hand. I saw dad's face cringe as he received the memories. After a couple minutes, dad opened his eyes and let go of Talar's head. He looked at him with shock in his eyes. He turned to mom and she went over to him and helped him up. "Thank you, Talar. I'll talk to you in a few hours. I need to decifer your memories before I can make complete sense of them. Esther, you can take Talar to his parents." Dad said as he left the room with mom.

~~narrator's POV~~

Max and Tess walked into their room and Tess locked the door. "What is it? What did you see?" Tess asked. " I...I.......I don't believe it. Talar, he's a King. His parents were Darieth and Lana." Max was shaking. "Max, sit down." Tess helped Max sit down on the bed. "Are you saying that Talar is Kivar's brother?" She asked Max. "Yes. I remember everything. Talar, he was so scared. He clung onto his mother's dress as Kivar tried to pull him away. He wouldn't let go. Kivar started yelling 'Ker! Let go! We need to get you into the capsul!' Talar let go and let Kivar take him away. Kivar put him in a small container and closed the door. There was a little window which he could look out of. Talar looked out and saw Kivar pressing some buttons. Suddenly he shot into the air and could see the planet in the window. The planet blew up, just after Talar escaped from it. He saw his home being destroyed, in front of his very eyes. Suddenly, there was this white light coming from the top of the container. It made a buzzing sound and........ then it all goes blank. There's no more. After that, Talar is in his bedroom staring up to the ceiling." Max stared down at the floor after explaining what he saw to Tess. "Kivar saved his brother. He knew he could have saved himself, but he didn't. Why?" Max was totally puzzled. All he knew was that Kivar was a hateful being who had seduced his sister. "Hey. Max. It's okay. We know who Talar is, and that's all that matters. We'll have to tell his parents....... I wonder how they'll react." Tess said.
"No! That can't be! I'm not related to that monster!" Talar yelled as Max tried to tell him who he was. "Your highness, are you sure this is true?" Asked Talar's mother, Jana. "I'm positive. Memories don't lie. You know, Talar, this isn't the end of the world. Don't you know what this means?" Max asked Talar. "I don't know. What?"  "It means you're a king." Everyone gasped as Max said that word. King. Talar stared at Max in amazement as he tried to soak all this in. "So I'm a King. But, I don't have a planet to rule. What am I supposed to do?" Talar asked. "Well, we'll figure something out. We'll discuss the issue with the Galectic Alliance. They will decide what to do. What would you like to do?" Max asked Talar. "Um. I don't really know. I mean, I just found out now. But, I guess I'd kind of like to stay here. I mean, on Antar."  "Talar. What about your home on Rameth? Don't you like it there?" Jana asked Talar. "Of course I do, mother. But, the way I see it, is I'm going to need to learn all the duties of being a King. I think King Max would be the best teacher." Talar said as he turned to Max. Max welcomed him with a smile.

~~1 year later (Esther's POV)~~

Well, a year past and Talar was accepted into our house hold. The Gallectic Alliance pronounced him King Talar of Nira. Talar was now a member of the Gallectic Alliance and could attend any of their meetings, as soon as he finished training with my father.  He started travelling with Josh, my father, and me to his meetings. Dad taught both him and Josh many things that go along with being a King.
Soon after we found out Talar was a King, Joshua told us he was getting married. I was extatic! I couldn't believe my brother was getting married. His fiance's name was Sheniah. I'd gotten to know Sheniah very well and I knew she was the perfect Queen for Joshua. The sun was shining bright and clear on their wedding day. Joshua looked so hansome in his royal blue tuxedo. His eyes shone brilliantly in the sunlight as he looked down the isle at his bride. Sheniah wore shimmering white gown that fit her body perfectly. Josh took her hand in his as they walked up to the alter together. As they stood up there together, I looked at Talar who was sitting next to me. He took my hand in his and smiled at me. Then dad, who was standing on the alter with Josh and Sheniah held both their hands and brought their hands together. When their hands touched, a red beam of light shot up into the sky. We watched as it pulsated for a few seconds and then came back down. It formed a shield around Josh and Sheniah and then desolved into the air. Dad said, "I now pronounce you husband and wife. Joshua, you may kiss your wife."
Talar and I continued to become more and more close. Often, at night, we would go outside down to the beach where he had saved me that fateful afternoon and lay on the sand. We'd stair up into the stars and talk. We'd talk about anything. Mostly about his past and how he was starting to remember things. It was so weird to hear him talk about Kivar as his brother. I had always been told that Kivar was hateful and heartless. Talar talked about him as a loving brother who cared about him. Then, one night as we were staring up into the sky, Talar sat up. He looked at me with a smile on his face. "What's that smile for?" I asked him as I sat up. Then, he got on his knees and took my hands in his and said, "Esther, I love you with all my heart. You've been there for me through good and bad this past year and I'm forever grateful for that. I know that I want to spend the rest of my life with you and I am now asking you. Esther, will you be my wife?" I looked at him with a huge grin on my face. "Yes. Yes, yes, yes! I love you so much!  Yes I'll be your wife!" I exclaimed as we embraced each other with a kiss.
The wedding was planned for the next summer. I planned everything to the tiniest detail. Every napkin had to match the silverware and the flowers all had to match my dress. Everything was planned to perfection. So here I am now, standing in the front of the giant Hall with my groom by my side. He stares at me with undeniable admiration as I stare back at him with the same love in my eyes. Dad stands in front of us, speaking to both us and to the congregation behind us. We place our hands together and the same red glow that we saw at Joshs wedding comes from our hands and floats in the air for a few minutes. Then it comes back down and my father pronounces us husband and wife. I kiss Talar and we are proclaimed King Talar and Queen Esther of Nira.
