Name: Imogin (me!)
Rating: PG

My name is Esther. Where I live, I'm known as Princess Esther of Antar. I'm the daughter of King Max and Queen Tess of Antar. I have three siblings; Future king, Prince Joshua,  Prince Kenton, and Princess Jodie. I was born in Roswell, New Mexico, USA, Earth on May 24, 2008. I am now 18 years old. Many people say I am the exact replica of my mother. But I know I could never come close to her magnificent beauty. Her piercing blue eyes and golden ringlets will always be superior to mine. Others say that I am just as stubborn as my father when it comes to politics. He often takes my brother Joshua and me along to his meetings with other councils of other worlds. I often voice my opinion and it is always respected.

It was a blistering hot day when I was born on May 24, 2008. The day after I was born, dad brought Josh in to see me. He'd asked for a brother the whole time mom was pregnant. He came running into the room, his eyes shining with excitment. When he saw that I was a girl, his face turned angry and he stomped out of the room. He was devastated. Dad went after him and said to him "Josh, what's wrong?"  Josh cried, "It's a girl! I don't want a sister, I want a brother!"   "You know, you should be happy with what ever you get, because just imagine if you didn't have any brother OR sister. You'd be all alone. You wouldn't like that would you? Just because she's a girl, doesn't mean that she can't fight like you and your friends. You can teach her how to do all those cool moves I taught you. Okay? Why don't you give her a try." Dad hated to see Josh so disappointed. Josh gave it another try and came walking into the room again. "Hey Josh! I missed you. Come here. See, this is your little sister." Mom helped him onto the bed. Josh asked, "What's her name?"  "Well, her name is Esther. Do you like that name?" Mom asked.  "Yeah! That's cool!" Josh's face lit up, just like it was when he first walked into the room.  Aunt Karina was standing beside the bed. Mom asked her, "Karina, do you think that you could take Josh tonight? He really wants to spend the night with you. He thinks your so cool!"  "Sure. I don't mind at all. We can watch some Star Wars movies, right Josh?" Aunt Karina said as she looked at Josh." 5 years old isn't too young to watch Star Wars is it?" Aunt Karina asked mom. "No, no. He watches all the Star Wars movies all the time." Mom answered. "Good, because that's our favorite thing to do."  Just then, Aunt Isabel and Uncle Michael walked in. Hiding behind Uncle Michael was my three year old cousin, Angelica.  "Hi Tess. How are you?" Aunt Isabel asked.  "I'm tired. 28 hours of hard labour can take it's toll on you, if you know what I mean."  "Boy do I ever! Angie took 30 hours and it was pure torture. But the outcome is always worth it." Isabel responded.  "Did you just get off work?" Dad asked Uncle Michael.  "Yeah. I got off work and picked up Isabel from the school and Angie from nursery school. We can't stay too long. Angie's getting hungry, and you know how she gets when she's cranky." Uncle Michael was referring to a year ago, when Angie got angry and she through a ball of fire across the room. Luckily, Aunt Isabel was there, and she put it out with her powers right away. From then on, Uncle Michael and Aunt Isabel have had to train Angie to keep her powers under control. They figured out how to use their telepathic and telekinetic powers to keep her under control when they're not around her. I guess she has a bit of her father in her.
I lived a pretty normal life up until I was 5 years old. Dad trained me to use my healing powers on animals. I loved the feeling of life flowing into an animal. I had lots of friends, so I was never lonely. But, a lot of my friend's parents told them not to get to close to me because they thought I was odd. I knew I was different, but I didn't know that other people would treat me different. My mom and dad always sheltered me from the outside world. It was easy then, because I was so young..
I was 4 years old when my younger brother Kenton was born. He looked a lot like dad. More than Joshua did. It was around the time of Kenton's birth, that I started seeing strange things with the stars. I've always been fascinated with the stars. I was lying down on the ground in our backyard, when I was looking at the V shape constellation that dad said was where we were from. The star on the left end of the V started blinking and I knew something was happening. Suddenly, the star started pulsing really brightly and then it disappeared. I couldn't figure it out. The constellation wasn't the full V anymore. It was missing the left end star. Mom came running outside and grabbed my arm and picked me up and we rushed inside.  "Mom, what's happening?" I asked. She said back to me,"We can't tell you right now. Just stay close to mommy and daddy." Her face was full of excitment. Joshua came up to me and took hold of my hand. "Don't worry, Esther. Every thing's fine. I'll watch out for you." Josh was always taking care of me. I guess the fact that he was 5 years older than me, made him more protective of me because he knew how dangerous the world was for me. He was only 9 years old and he was always taking care of me. I loved him for it. Then, the doorbell rang. It was Uncle Michael and Aunt Isabel. "Are you ready to go?" Uncle Michael asked. "Yup. Joshua, take your sister to the van and get buckled up. We'll be there in a second." Dad said. Josh and I went to the van. We were scared, but we tried not to show it. "What's happening, Josh?" I asked him, despirate for an answer. "I don't know. Just trust mom and dad, okay?" I nodded. Mom put Kenton into the car-seat and got into the van. We quickly drove over to Aunt Karina's house and picked her up. Then we left. We drove for a while, into the desert. We arrived at the big rock where mom and dad say they emerged from their pods. Uncle Michael's car was right behind us. There, right in front of us, was a large, tall object. I couldn't make out what it was. "Come on, kids. Hold onto my hand." Dad said as he helped Josh and me out of the van. We all walked into the big objectInside, there was a bright blue light shining on to the floor right in front of us, so we could see where we were going. We walked further into the ship and turned right, into a large room. Dad led me and Joshua into a little room. "This is going to be your bedroom for the next couple of months. The room was a bright blue, with two kid size beds, each in a corner. One bed had a pink blanket with roses on it. The other was black with stars on it and the words 'Star Wars' on the front. Josh and I jumped onto our beds and started laughing. We were moving somewhere else! Suddenly, we could feel the ground below us shaking. Josh ran to the window and looked outside. I ran after him. As we looked outside, we saw the lights from the city start to move father and farther away. Slowly, we rose so high, we were in the clouds. Then, in the blink of an eye, the clouds disappeared and a ball formed in the window.  "That looks a lot like earth." Josh said.  "It is." Dad said, as he stood behind us.  "What? I don't get it." Josh said.  "We're leaving earth to go home. It's safe for us to go back." Dad explained,"You know the evil ruler, Kivar? Well, he was destroyed, along with his planet."  "You mean, we're not in danger anymore?" I asked.  "That's right. Come on, let's get you guys settled in. Wow, what a room, eh?" Dad said, as he started filling our closets with clothes and the toy boxes with toys.
The next morning, we all gathered around a large table to eat breakfast. I sat down right across from Aunt Karina. Josh sat to my right, and mom to my left. Dad sat at the head of the table, and Uncle Michael sat at the foot of the table. Angelica was sitting across from Aunt Isabel. Next to her was Angie's little sister, Jeanie. I could barely see Jeanie since she was so short.(she was only 2 years old.) There were two strangers who entered the room with plates of food. One of them walked over to me and set down a plate of pancakes. I asked mom, "Who are those two people?"  "They are our guides. They're going to help us find our way home. They're great cooks, and so they wanted to make us a meal. Now eat your pancakes." Mom replied.
The whole day, Josh, Angie, and I went exploring in the ship. We were fascinated by all the rooms and corridors. In every intersection, there was a computer built into the wall that told us where we were. If we got lost, all we had to do was ask how we could get back to our parents and it would guide us there.
