Happy Fourth of July
Nice_Guy do you think this will affect your game at all?
Team Amy has always confused me, but I was positive of getting the score this time... Though technically it was a ground-rule double, there was outside interference. If you replay the tape slowly and look off behind the action, you'll see what I mean.
I did see that myself, that had to be rough. What are your plans for the next round with Team Amy?
I've just got to play it cool, not try to overachieve. Pretty much act like the situation doesn't bother me, and keep focused.
Does the situation bother you?
In a way, yes... she has a special something about her. What's most difficult, and easiest at once, is that she is one of the extreme few, that understands everything I say or do, in the context I meant for it to happen. I also like to think that I have the same understanding of her... though, its her thought process that throws me off.
Do you think she is toying with you?
The thought has crossed my mind, but what I really think it is, is a combination of two things. She's out to have fun, and it really doesn't matter if she scores or not. And part two is we both work at the same place for our day jobs, and it might not be a good idea for people there to learn about the games.
Understandable. Any chances of another at-bat sometime soon?
I don't have any games lined up really... though Team Amy and I have talked a couple of days before the game about a possible double-header next month, if I can convince Team Jill. Team Jill plays the double-header every so often, I'm told.
