Nice Guys Finish Last
Let us try and discover why Nice Guys do not get girls.  Nice Guys usually want to make a friend first instead of going after a complete stranger.  Because of this reason, nice guys are too shy about making the first move to take a friendship to a relationship.  Why you ask?  They don't really want to jeopardize the friendship, because in their early teen-age years a situation like this came up, and the girl just wanted to remain "friends".  Most often than not the friendship changed at that point.  The change usually takes form of the girl not wanting to be around the nice guy all that much, and especially since he had balls enough to admit his feelings in the first place.  (And you women wonder why guys hide their feelings, and can do it so well.)

I wish it could be as simple as middle school in finding a relationship... passing notes saying "Do you like me?" or getting your best friend to casually inquire about a girl's feeling towards you and all that bullshit....But no...  now we must act like adults, and bear the full brunt of rejection and show emotionally that it really doesn't bother us...  when in fact, it does.

Being rejected like this myself, there have been times that I have sworn off the pursuit of women for a couple of months.  As always after a few months, a new round of women come into my life, through various friends, and when I am out and about on the town.  Though I am usually rejected again, the process starts over.

As the saying goes, Nice Guys Finish Last.  I have always wondered about this saying and why after time and time again it hold true.  My only conclusion is nice guys have self-confidence problems, so they are always being nice and doing nice things for other people, which gets them a momentary reward of "Thank you for doing that for me" or " Thanks, couldn't have done it without ya"  Still that lack of self-confidence is there.  When going after a girl, the guy always thinks even the average-looking girls are kind of out of his league, but he's not really attracted to the below-average (or below-average intelligence), so he either goes without the nookie or settles for someone not quite "worthy" of him, just so he can get him some ass.
This is the rant that started it all.  My page grew from the one rant into what it is today.  Without this, there would be nothing here.  It is still the most commented rant I have, and I hope it continues to be.
