CORNELIUS m
Usage:
Ancient Roman, English, German, Biblical
Roman family name which possibly derives from the Latin element cornu "horn". In Acts in the New Testament Cornelius was a centurion who was directed by an angel to seek Peter. After speaking with Peter he became a Christian convert.

Is this a hint that Cornelius Fudge is/or will be placed under the Imperius curse, is ordered to talk to Wormtail and joins the Death Eaters in future Harry Potter books? A disturbing thought!

OSWALD
m
Usage:
English
Derived from the Old English elements os "god" and weald "rule". Saint Oswald was a king of Northumbria who introduced Christianity to northeast England in the 7th century before being killed in battle. The name was occasionally used after the Norman conquest.

Fudge's Middle name is Oswald. The name says it. He will think he's some kind of God because he's Minister for Magic. It's all over book 5. But here we learn a more pleasant thing about Fudge: He will be killed in a battle!
